Ohio Republican chairman not-so-subtly threatens retaliation against any party member who publicly declares their disgust for Ramaswamy platforming a deadbeat, pedophile-loving “mother.”
I wouldn’t even consider it the story of 2026. But the streets can say what they want! We move.

I don’t care if you one day break a story that transforms American history on the spot. This will still be the story of your career.
He’s also the same guy that broke the Urban Meyer lap dance story. His name is Tim Chitters.

In new Dynata push poll, Ramaswamy’s team is also soliciting feedback on the Donna Arthur ad.
Ideally speaking, as a politician, you’d want to have already had rock-solid numbers before launching a $4 million ad spree that created this kind of blowback.
She is indeed a Democrat, so very nice of her to try to sell us down the river to a billionaire conman as her last act before the grave all because Vivek hoodwinked her outside an event.

Details are out on Vivek Ramaswamy’s statewide TV buy for his attack spot featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother:
$4,518,306 total for ads in every Ohio media market, starting Thursday and running through Election Day, per @MediumBuying.
Dynata is out with another messaging poll for Vivek Ramaswamy and another 60-second ad featuring a “lifelong Democrat” turned Ramaswamy voter.

.@pablotorre's stories about going to school with Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy — from his alter ego: a libertarian rapper he called “Da Vek," to raising his hand in class with a 'V' symbol — are incredible. 😭😂

"I probably wouldn't run an ad like that," says Ohio GOP Secretary of State Frank LaRose, who acknowledges his office is reviewing complaints over the 60-second Vivek Ramaswamy commercial featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother

The only person more evil than that Hag from Hell is the notorious conman Vivek Ramaswamy.
The record is clear: Ramaswamy is platforming the mother who stayed married to Dr. Acton's rapist in a desperate attempt to save his nascent political career.

The anti-Acton ad is now running with a disclaimer that it was paid for by Vivek Ramaswamy and Rob McColley for Ohio, Vivek's campaign committee. But it's still not clear which firm made it. So I looked at the committee's media vendors and found that its biggest one by far is Strategic Media Placement, which received $11.8 million as of June 5. That figure accounts for much of what the committee paid media, polling and digital vendors through that period.
I should be clear that I'm not saying Strategic Media Placement made the ad. I don't know that for certain. I'm saying that this vendor should be at the top of the list for trying to figure that out, and here are a few reasons why.
According to state fictitious-name filings, Strategic Media Placement is registered to do business as "The Strategy Group Company." The campaign's own expenditure filings list Strategic Media Placement and The Strategy Group for Media at the same Delaware, Ohio, address. The CEO of The Strategy Group is Ben Yoho, who served as campaign chief executive officer for Vivek's 2024 presidential campaign, and is married to Tricia McLaughlin, the comms director for that same Vivek campaign. ProPublica reported that The Strategy Group got a share of $220 million in DHS ad contracts awarded under Noem; the firm says it was paid about $226,000 for five film shoots. At the time, McLaughlin was serving as Noem's chief spokesperson. She has said she recused herself from those contracts.
I also looked at state filings for other campaigns and found payments to The Strategy Group for Media for "B-roll and interview shoot" and "media productions."
