This was Rio Ferdinand talking about David Moyes 8 years ago. This is exactly what he did yesterday with the starting line up. This loser mentality is why he will never be successful at our club.
He’s not developed as a manager at all, football has changed.
Uncomfortable conversations need to be had about Armstrong. What type of midfielder is he, can he contribute going forward etc. We sold Tim, who may be older but had a lot more about his game. I like Armstrong, he’s got huge potential, but he will need to develop massively.
This should be the last year of Jack Grealish in my opinion. Fantastic football player, but we need more pace on the wings. It’s obvious he is an ageing player.
