So today my husband and I went to the Peggy Wood Charity Shop on Mill Street. We had to make 2 trips to and from the car. When we came out after a few minutes we had a parking ticket. We parked in a 1/3
Loading area which had two large vans in it, one of which was obscuring a sign that said only goods vehicles could load/unload there. Okay we didn’t see the sign so will pay the fine BUT how on earth are people supposed to donate to charity shops 2/3
Had a wonderful day with @KentWildlife at #TylandBarn Went on a #butterfly walk, dissected #OwlPellets and learned about #Hedgehogs - Kent is being destroyed by overdevelopment and companies like #GallagherAggregates @HelenGrantMP @stuartjeffery @Kent_cc @maidstonebc
We need to protect what nature we have left. This includes #OakenWood an ancient woodland under threat from quarry expansion. To think the council is even entertaining this idea is heartbreaking @Natures_Voice @WoodlandTrust @KentWildlife @KentBatGroup @KentMammalGroup
@iD_Mobile_UK I recently took advantage of one of your upgrade offers on your website. I wish I hadn’t. My current Sim has been switched off. Problem is the code needed for the delivery driver to give me the parcel has been texted to me. Without it, he won’t give me my phone. I/2
@iD_Mobile_UK the problem is I can’t activate my new Sim until I get my phone. How on earth can you allow this to happen? It makes absolutely no sense and it’s really frustrated me and caused me so much unnecessary stress. Your live chat advisors are lovely but don’t understand
Can you help me identify this moth/ butterfly which I found on my #SweetWilliam this morning. I’m wondering if it’s a #GreenCarpetMoth thank you @SussexWildlife @KentWildlife @savebutterflies @RSPBEngland #butterflies #moths #wildlife #nature
Definitely want to try this!!

STAR TREK HISTORY was almost made today when Ambassador Spock offered the Academy’s first Gorn applicant his Starfleet Insignia. Unfortunately the applicant refused to accept it and diplomatic relations between the Gorn and the Federation returned to an uneasy stalemate.

If you are stuck indoors today here are some suggestions for all sorts of bat-themed activities you can do indoors (some you can do outdoors if the weather is suitable!).
Something fun for all ages to enjoy: buff.ly/3SqRs5y
I agree but it doesn’t help when you are destroying the very places we can walk and experience the healing benefits of nature #SaveOakenWood #StopTheGallagherQuarryExtension @stuartjeffery @HelenGrantMP @WoodlandTrust @KentWildlife @Kent_cc @maidstonebc
Walking is a great way to improve your health. It boosts your circulation and increases the oxygen supply is around your body – helping you to feel better!
