In our first year, MAFRAC granted $769,643 to 79 hunger relief organizations feeding communities across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia thanks to donations from a variety of community foundations. #feedandbefed

Notes like this inspire us so much! It’s proof we’re more than a micro granting org. We made ¡99 grants totaling $790,643 in 6 mo! but we also created a network of people who are excited to find new ways to feed their communities. The need isn’t going away— neither are we!

This is tremendous: they didn’t just write checks—they put in the work to see how to best share —all the while freeing up the people on the ground to keep doing great work in their communities. Accountable but not burdened.
