India's examination crisis: Why CCTV and tougher laws won't stop paper leaks - goo.gl/alerts/czQeoT #GoogleAlerts by me and @MDP_CUTS
Seeking better ways out as enforcement doesn't work out. One way is to keep the fear of continuous 3rd party evaluation and not just entry level tests, which anyway is easy due to paper leaks, dummies standing in etc.

#WATCH | Delhi: On the government planning to bring a bill to change the name of the MGNREGA scheme, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "It's unfortunate because Mahatma Gandhi had a very, very clear vision of both the rural poor, whom he cared for. He talked about wiping the tear from the poorest person's eye. That whole Ram Rajya and Gram Swaraj were intertwined in Mahatma Gandhi's mind. So it was a very good choice of name to begin with. And everyone knows the scheme for the last 20 years in various Indian languages, as the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme. So why change it now? You can change the terms of the scheme. That's the government's prerogative. But changing the name is unnecessary."

Chairperson, Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs @ShashiTharoor on how India can leverage a volatile global order & become a developed nation by 2047?
Be nimble, agile and flexible when relationships between nations can change, break down or get back on track frequently
Go into every relationship with your eyes wide open, be it China or America

We can work on Rajasthan and turn it into a model state for hassle free Tourism Investments.
@Tasmita_cuts @amol_kulkarni1 @vas_cuts @KumariDiya @MDP_CUTS @puru_354 @gssjodhpur
Excessive regulation by State governments has made tourism investment extremely cumbersome. A hotel needs nearly 50 clearances to start operations. This slows growth in a sector that can become a $1 trillion industry and create 50 million jobs. States must eliminate regulations and move towards facilitation. This is critical for job creation.
A recent Atithi Foundation report (atithi.org.in/resources) examines licensing bottlenecks and recommends reforms for EoDB intourism.
