There is an important reason that the right never wins the culture war overall, despite the left being so poor at tactics that they often end up shooting their own feet. That is the reality that logistics are more important than tactics, and tactics only matter once you have sorted logistics out. The left has sorted logistics out by creating patronage networks, while the right refuses to do so because it's still controlled by a curious kind of boomer paleoliberal who thinks that "free market" means "everything should pay for itself". Thus, both the cultural and political struggles of the right must be waged by broke young men as a side project to their careers, while fighting for the left is a career. The young men fighting for the right are simply expected to purchase their own rifles, ammunition, uniforms and kit, provide their own transport to the front, then organize themselves into units to defeat the communists. If you understand this, then you will understand why the retards manage to win a lot despite being retards. The left is giving people 100K fellowships for writing lesbian novels, while the right is charging its own guys $200 to listen to some theoretical ramblings about the antichrist. No, that's not a metaphor. I wish I had made either of those two facts up as some sort of hyperbole. Only the left understands how to get and use political power. The left understands that power is a form of currency. So if you want it, you have to buy it, with some other form of currency. Such as money. The right thinks that political power is a side effect... something that you naturally accumulate while doing business. Possibly this is because most wealthy right-wing people are investors. They start a project, or put money into it, and they expect to get their money back and then some. That's what they are used to. That's how investment works. But that's not how power works. And if you have wealth, but no power, then the people with power will just take whatever you built. I don't know exactly what the tech right, the business right, the wealthy right, should be spending on political power. But what they are spending is clearly not enough and in the wrong places. Because George Soros sure as hell isn't selling people tickets to listen to him talk.
As a young man in Republican politics I can explain why we don't "just volunteer" Positions are unpaid or underpaid, men are expected to be breadwinners We can't afford to hold these roles consistently Also the GOP actively pushes to have Less Men in Leadership

We're genuinely going to have to launch a crusade, man.
today, we introduce a little mischief to the world. for four years, we’ve been brewing real brain cells on electrodes to understand how they compute. now, we’ve turned those discoveries into a video model anyone can use. from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace. it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning. happy halloween.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is a post-train of Wan, an open weights model, and is not running on actual neurons. The authors claim they used “insights from the neurons” to make the model cheaper, but many post-trained video models exist with no relation to bio-compute. unite.ai/tbc-mischief-n…

Firing squad for everyone involved in this story. I hate them all. My parents never expected anything in return but I also still did spend almost a decade taking care of my father before he passed. Parents should not demand. But children should not act ungrateful either.
What's your take on this? Are there really limits on being a child to our parents when we grow up? Ako kasi I personally want to spoil my parents for their hardword when I was building myself from scratch, kaya if celebrating my parents' birthday is what they want, I'm gonna give it to them willingly kasi who knows until when natin sila makakasama. Nakakalungkot lang why she had this sentiment :(

We have a responsibility to each other. I refuse to live in America where everyone is an atomized piece of shit and you can't rely on anyone in times of need.

Ideally, we would not have visible protests against America and China and just have under-the-table deals where we play both sides against one another for our gain but ALAS.

If you're not grateful to your parents that you EXIST, then kill yourself NOW because, literally, without them you would not EXIST at all. If you don't appreciate the LITERAL GIFT OF LIFE, then just kill yourself.

"Pranksters" should be lined up against the wall and shot. At BEST, you can expect hard labour in the fucking gulags.

If you do a "prank" like this, you should just have your kneecaps destroyed, actually.
I think what makes these fake Apple Pay scam/prank situations so emotionally volatile is that they combine several nightmare scenarios for the victim into one attack. For starters, you're getting robbed in public. This is embarrassing, especially for a man. Second, you're on camera unexpectedly for a large audience. This should be illegal. It's not, but it should be. Third, you're being played for a fool because you don't really know how the technology of Apple Pay / contactless payments works, and someone is exploiting you over it. So we end up with a scenario where some random guy--in this case, a middle-aged man stocking the frozen pizzas--is getting robbed, humiliated, and made to look foolish by what is likely a teenage mulatto who's exploiting a type of "I'm not touching you" loophole in the social contract, where the pizza guy would go to jail for a long time if he punched the scammer because ultimately the prankster (a) hasn't stolen anything, and (b) hasn't laid a finger on the victim. It creates a real 'naked in front of the whole class' simulation where over 7 billion people will have permanent access to an episode of "This is what the pizza guy would look like if someone were robbing him using a technology he's too old to understand. See, look how mad he is over the IDEA of losing $10! Look how stupid he is! They didn't even take any money!" This is a worst-case scenario for the victim. Most people are not designed for this. Complete public humiliation, absolute demoralization, no rightful recourse in the eyes of the law, no way to take back what has been stolen from you because no money was actually taken; only your dignity and sense of self-worth. This is what happens to actual Americans in 2026 who still try to live by following the rules, working hard, and sticking to the script. They get publicly humiliated by 90 IQ mystery meat ethnics exploiting them for content to earn shitcoins with which to gamble on prediction websites.

He's partly right and partly wrong. No one cannot expect foreign firms / multinationals to willingly give up their trade secrets and intellectual property to be able to do business in the Philippines. That is indeed naive. But the Philippines can require foreign firms to partner with domestic companies in manufacturing where the country can derive the most value-added benefit. One problem with foreign capital has been how it tends to take advantage of a country's labor, land, and natural resources. Producing goods locally does create jobs. But if 80% of the value ends up in the hands of the foreign entity, it is not healthy for the host nation's long-term prosperity. This is what China learned very early on. It didn't want Western companies going into China to build cars, tires, computers, cell phones, and appliances using their own natural resources and labor, while selling these to Chinese consumers at a huge markup, only to repatriate the bulk of the profits forever. So, China's policy of technology transfer, while seen as unfair by many, likely prevented the country from ending up a very poor, inflation-ravaged, perennially low-cost manufacturer with a standard of living like Bangladesh. (No offence meant to Bangladesh people.) Of course, the Philippines is nothing like China in terms of market size, which could allow it to demand similar terms to those China imposed on foreign investors. But it should learn to play to its strengths and advantages to derive AND retain the most value-added out of any foreign venture in the country. FDI shouldn't just be about giving job opportunities and fixed capital, but also be a positive force in building up a nation's ability to become more self-sufficient while adequately guaranteeing all stakeholders' interests.
Investment expert Stevie CuUnjieng challenged calls for Filipino ownership and technology transfer in foreign-backed industrial projects, arguing that multinational companies cannot be expected to surrender their intellectual property simply because they establish operations in the Philippines. During an interview with @ANCALERTS Market Edge host Michelle “Mimi” Ong, CuUnjieng responded to concerns initially raised by Caritas Philippines and Bishop Gerardo Alminaza over the proposed US-backed Pax Silica Industrial Hub in New Clark City, Tarlac. The Catholic organization called for greater Filipino ownership, stronger local manufacturing and technological development, expressing concern that the country could remain dependent on foreign-controlled supply chains. CuUnjieng questioned how many products commonly used in the Philippines are developed through Filipino-owned technology, citing computers, smartphones and cameras. He also pointed to @ToyotaMotorCorp and @Microsoft as examples of multinational companies that retain control over their proprietary technologies when operating abroad. He argued that foreign investments already provide economic benefits through employment, supply-chain opportunities and increased business activity. CuUnjieng maintained that technology transfer takes time and that countries can acquire knowledge, purchase technology and develop their own capabilities rather than expect foreign investors to provide immediate access to their intellectual property. The exchange centered on whether foreign investments should be expected to strengthen Filipino ownership and technological independence, and how the Philippines can develop its domestic industries while attracting international companies. Only anti-social retards think this is based. If you did not predict that social ostracization was going to be the end result of this experiment, you're a moron and will be sent to the camps.

Bukele is what I wanted out of Duterte BUT ALAS!!! BUT ALAS. UNFORTUNATELY... ALAS... It was not meant to be.
With each increasingly bold action Bukele takes and successfully lands the more he ascends the all-time greats rankings. Doubly ballsy as one wrong move means he gets hauled off to the International Criminal Court by the next Democrat administration. Clearly worth the risk though
