🧵The #amquerying queries I've received are top-notch. Authors have really polished their queries. You ROCK! But I wanted to give some insight if I pass on yours as some things I'm looking for that are SUPER easy fixes. And yes, when I re-open resub:)

The 21st Annual James River Writers Conference has begun! We started today with pre-conference master classes, and we look forward to seeing everyone in person at the Greater Richmond Convention Center tomorrow! We can't wait to be in community with you. #jrw2023
I just started this. It grabbed me from the first page. Extremely voicey. 5% in, I already want to be friends with and learn all about Marjorie Post. @AllisonPataki #bookrec #amreading #bookclub

Today-yrs-old when I learned ANYONE can register for a @JamesRvrWriters MASTER CLASS!!! You don't have to be a member. You don't have to be a conference attendee. You can live anywhere because they are virtual. I'm taking one! tinyurl.com/yeyutj8w #amwriting #pubtip #writers

Wanna hear me talk to agents about querying? Wanna ask questions directly to agents? Wanna get a critique of your query by said agents (maybe even a request!)? Meet me here then! :) @JamesRvrWriters #amquerying #querytip #agenttip #pubtip

Finally! I met fellow Virginian @blacklionking73! He is as relaxed and good-natured as his books are intense and important. Great night. Thank you, Kelly and @FountainBkstore! Fantastic Q&A! Also included @LRGiles sighting! :)
Checking my camera. A little too bright, that's okay. It'll work out as the sun sets. Teaching is about to commence! Really wishing I didn't forget my cute new computer glasses. At least I have an old pair! :) @SINCnational #sinc-centralva #queryquill #oldladyeyes #amquerying

Dear @TSNOTYAW listeners: I know I beat you up about how long your queries are but I want you to know I write pitches too (to editors) and my current one is 380 words and I'm trimming it down.
You can cut yours too!
I'll be teaching! Who will I see? I hope to see you! :) #amwriting
