🧵The #amquerying queries I've received are top-notch. Authors have really polished their queries. You ROCK! But I wanted to give some insight if I pass on yours as some things I'm looking for that are SUPER easy fixes. And yes, when I re-open resub:)

The 21st Annual James River Writers Conference has begun! We started today with pre-conference master classes, and we look forward to seeing everyone in person at the Greater Richmond Convention Center tomorrow! We can't wait to be in community with you. #jrw2023

Today-yrs-old when I learned ANYONE can register for a @JamesRvrWriters MASTER CLASS!!! You don't have to be a member. You don't have to be a conference attendee. You can live anywhere because they are virtual. I'm taking one! tinyurl.com/yeyutj8w #amwriting #pubtip #writers

Dear @TSNOTYAW listeners: I know I beat you up about how long your queries are but I want you to know I write pitches too (to editors) and my current one is 380 words and I'm trimming it down.
You can cut yours too!

I hope you’ll join with the activists who’ve been sounding the alarm on this issue for years — and act. Stand with them at a local protest. Volunteer with them on a campaign. Donate to their causes. And vote in every election for candidates who will support reproductive rights.

On what would have been the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we’re reminded that progress can move backward. And that means we’ve got to recommit to doing our part to protect and expand reproductive rights for families today — and for generations to come.

Inspiration! #NaNoWriMo
Happy start of National Novel Writing Month! Fun fact, I wrote the first 50k of ‘The Perfect Marriage’ during #NaNoWriMo in 2017. It pubbed in 2020 and has been sitting in the top 10 on Kindle for 4 months straight.

Darlings, real life people can’t queer bait. They are not part of a storyline. Please stop forcing people to out themselves to satisfy your interpretation of their behavior. Just let people live.
