BREAKING: Today, the owner of a durable medical equipment company was convicted by a federal jury for a $8.6M Medicare fraud scheme targeting seniors and people with disabilities.
The scheme relied on fake prescriptions, forged or stolen doctor credentials, and faked call recordings to order and ship orthotic braces that patients didn't need (which were then billed to the taxpayer). An expert called some brace combinations "very dangerous" for seniors.
The defendant faces up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing set for January.

Flávio Bolsonaro has left Brazil for the U.S. after Lula’s police force and tyrant Supreme Court Justice ordered the seizure of his passport.
He was likely going to face arrest if he stayed.
They came after his father and sentenced him to 27 years, issued an arrest warrant for his brother Eduardo, and now they are coming after him for attempting to unseat Lula.
This is what happens is Communist countries. If you oppose the regime, they lash out and do everything they can to silence you in order to cling to power.
There are dark days ahead for Brazil.
The election should have been annulled.

Wow, an individual wearing a keffiyeh violently shook my hand while I was holding my phone as I interviewed the Washington, DC DSA.
I asked the DSA how they can be against money in politics when they’re handing out pre-printed shirts and signs at their anti-Trump protest.
I’m a white guy from a family of used car salesmen who like to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, so that’s probably why they got extra angry.
