Yes, confirmed. US Central Command has conducted fresh airstrikes on Iranian military surveillance, communication, and air defense sites for a second straight day, in response to Iranian actions including attacks near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has retaliated against US bases in the region. The broader conflict that began in February continues amid diplomatic efforts.

A couple on minimum wage, both working 40 hours a week:
Gross: £52,874
Take-home: £45,108
Child Benefit: £1,407 (1 child)
30 funded childcare hours: ✅
A single earner on £100,001:
Gross: £100,001
Take-home: £68,558
Child Benefit: £0
30 funded childcare hours: ❌
Losing those hours costs £11,890 a year in nursery fees.
So the single earner ends up with £56,668.
The couple ends up with £46,515.
That's £10,153 more for the single earner.
Despite earning £47,127 more.
Now add a second child.
The couple's Child Benefit goes up to £2,337.
The single earner's nursery bill doubles to £23,780.
Couple: £47,446
Single earner: £44,777
The minimum wage couple are now £2,668 better off.
Is this a fair system?
This is 💯% a Wendy fan.
Got to feel for Mark. Followed Wednesday through years of rubbish and just as they appoint their saviour, the Americans ban him 😂
Come on Storch, unban him. He deserves to see the Challenor era.
BLADESBALL STANDS WITH MARK
@Markmoorhouse2 @storchyowl
We know exactly what will and what won't be in this fairytale document. Councillor @andyburnham main priorities will be to a) protect Trade Unions (his paymasters) and b) Welfare claimants who WON'T work (his main voter base). Tax, tax, fucking tax.
Environment secretary Angela Eagle suggests a cut in welfare spending will not be included in Andy Burnham’s 10 year plan, listing “power, water, housing and transport” as the key issues involved.
“Not everything that the government produces has to be about everything you want it to be about, all in the same document.”

BREAKING: Russell Brand found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
This forthcoming Tourist Tax should ONLY be paid by foreign visitors and not UK citizens. It's a fucking scandal that we should have to pay more when we already pay huge amounts of tax.
This is Angela thick-as-sludge Rayner's idea, but very typical of @UKLabour - tax, tax, tax.
We now have a convicted criminal standing in for Councillor @andyburnham and @UKLabour at PMQs. How far has this country sunk? FFS.

The words written for you by the Civil Service to repair the damage of your “employers are not working people” line won’t cut it.
The mask has slipped.
You and your Labour government don’t understand or care about small businesses or business owners.

At what point do we stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and start asking where all of our tax money is going.

Ho Chi Minh City (allora Saigon) era la capitale del Vietnam del Sud, alleato degli USA nella guerra.
Any of my followers run (or ever run) a business? According to @UKLabour you are NOT working people. Not sure what you are, but you are not working.🤦♂️
These are supposed to be serious people. The 🤡s cannot run a fucking bath.
Just listening to @JohnHealey_MP on #BBCLauraK - he has his head in the sand. He is kicking every can - benefits, defence, debt reduction, etc - down the road. Come on John FFS.

Economically illiterate retards: if you can’t pay whatever wage the government sets, you’re unviable and should just close.
Poundland: hold my beer
Economically illiterate retards: businesses shouldn’t be allowed to close, think of the job losses!
🤡
Every single time a low IQ thought like this passes through your small brain, you should ask yourself just how much you’re willing to pay for your essential goods and services (and everything else). How much do you want grocery prices to climb? 7% 10%? 20%? Then ask yourself what that means for the people on the lowest rung. Would you be willing to pay 15 pounds for a coffee? No? Well then you’re going to gradually erase your hospitality sector and all of those jobs (that’s already happening, why do you think the same chains are on every street, with your order being taken by a machine?). Prices are bound by what consumers are willing to pay, that’s you, love.
Can you explain to us, in all of your wisdom, how businesses remain viable when they’re already at their price ceiling and the government keeps forcing their wage bill up?

The tone is so weird in Britain around success. They want people to build things and create jobs but not actually get any benefit or gain any wealth for their risk taking. No mention of the 40 staff he hires just the houses. 🤣

Some things that British voters have forgotten.
🔴Making a profit is no vice.
🔴Inequality is not evil.
🔴The fact that tax cuts chiefly benefit people who pay taxes is not an argument against them.
🔴Governments spend money less well than you do.
🔴There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

WTF? A Prime Minister who has never run a business in his life demands answers because a private business fails? … let me help you, Andy & co.
A retail chain needs to stay in fashion, needs to go with the flow! … But you and successive governments don’t like their “tat” products (mostly sourced off shore to sell them at £1!!! That the whole point right?) anyway…
for free (without a taxpayer funded £MULTIMILLION enquiry I’ll tell you the problems… (you’re welcome)
▪️massively increased regulations and compliance costs.
▪️cheap tat sourced from abroad, with rising shipping and transport costs.
▪️Hit by increased minimum wages and employer National Insurance.
▪️Hit by rising rents and business rates.
▪️Hit by soaring energy bills and net zero costs.
▪️Hit by higher interest rates.
▪️Hit by consumers with less disposable income.
▪️Hit by the soaring cost of borrowing to buy stock months in advance.
▪️Hit by higher insurance premiums.
▪️Hit by shoplifting, organised theft and security costs.
▪️Hit by packaging taxes, recycling regulations and environmental compliance costs.( which you just throw into general taxation, non of it changes the weather)
▪️Hit by higher fuel, warehousing and distribution costs.
▪️Hit by increased employment costs, pensions and statutory obligations.
▪️Hit by competition from overseas online retailers operating with very different overheads.( duty free … for foreign businesses oops)
▪️And hit by the impossibility of passing those costs onto customers, who shop at Poundland precisely because they need cheap stuff! … which isn’t cheap anymore (see above)
Every single time you add something on … so do they!
And the idiot, deluded politicians who have made Britain more and more expensive and difficult to do business in, are demanding to know why businesses are struggling?
You are all moronic. My work here is done 🤡
