Irrespective of what you think about Restore Britain, or politics in general, people very clearly need to take more responsibility for themselves rather than constantly begging the state to violently punish other people for their own choices and vices.
Gambling is not evil, and a Restore Britain Government will reduce taxes on the industry. Adults should be free to make their own choices about how they spend their own money - a wild thing for a political party to say, I know. Britain has a successful gambling industry that supports local economies all over the country. In my constituency alone we have horse racing, a greyhound stadium, plenty of arcades and more. We should be encouraging responsible operators to thrive, not taxing them into dust. Problem gambling is an issue and should be properly addressed. But punishing an entire industry, costing thousands of jobs, for the actions of a very small number is not the answer. Restore Britain will back British gambling.

All these "Restore Britain" members chiming in that they disavow these comments and want religious laws banning gambling, show they aren't united behind personal responsibility or a small state, and probably have a civil war coming if they are to be taken seriously.

In my analysis, the action axiom in the Austrian school of economics is based on the following trilemma: either an action is determined, or it's random, or it's a choice. If it's a choice, then whatever you chose was the best option you had for whatever reason you chose it. If it's determined, we either say there isn't a choice happening, or equivalently you chose the best (and only) option you had. If it's totally random and no coherent narrative can explain it, then that violates the axiom, but there are good arguments that true randomness doesn't exist. Actions can have aspects of all three, but as movement through time entails physical action, the axiom simply states "time moves forwards and things aren't random".

I should add, it's that time moves forward from the perspective of every observer. It doesn't require absolute time.

I will need to fix this in the not too distant future.

The true beauty and perhaps horror of Twitter is that you can literally address the Pope as a "fucking libtard".
Replying to @Pontifex
No they can't, which is why God mandated the death penalty in the Bible, you fucking libtard.

Ancaps just assume people are retarded because understanding that self-interest can be subtly or inadvertently malicious undermines their worldview.

Researchers recently used wavenumber power scaling to derive scaling factors for fundamental harmonic vibrational frequencies and thermodynamic corrections. They used Q-Chem to obtain geometries and frequencies with MP2, CCSD, and >40 DFT functionals. doi.org/10.1021/acs.jctc.6c0…

We benchmark Wavenumber Power Scaling (WPS) across 500+ model chemistries in our new @JCIM_JCTC @ACSPublications paper. WPS improves on uniform scaling by up to 64%, is less basis dependent, and can describe molecular vibrational fundamentals and thermodynamics equally. doi.org/10.1021/acs.jctc.6c0…
