Happy Infantry Day! Immense respect to the bunch of rugged guys who defend the long, inhospitable and unforgiving borders of India.
Need not have booked the idiot.
Giving him far more publicity than his content would have garnered, and making an issue out of a non issue.
Now he gets to become a rallying point for the hate brigade, instead of just another guy with an opinion.

I remember there was a huge furore when actor Akshay Kumar sought to auction the Navy Uniform he wore in the movie Rustom.
Insult to the uniform and so forth.
What is the opinion on a guard of honour being presented to a Godman, in a civilian function, by civilian guards dressed up in military uniforms, commanded by an ex-serviceman wearing his military uniform as well as medals?
One can understand civilians having scant regard for the unform, but when people who once wore the uniform happily play along, what hope is left?
Traffic jams bring people together. Good for unity of the nation and its citizens.
Those complaining about traffic jams have a divisive agenda.
Their motives and funding should be investigated.

One problem. If the guy arrested is ‘our guy’, we outrage that bail conditions are onerous.
If the guy arrested is ‘theirs’, we outrage he has been let off too easily on bail.
We need to appreciate that the rule necessarily has to be accused agnostic for it to be fair.

A personal and heartfelt update.
I approached Mrs Rajalaxmi Singh Deo, President @IndiaRowing in 2018 to introduce Para Rowing in India and she agreed. I was appointed Chair, Rowing Federation of India Para Rowing Commission by her, after taking due approval from the Army (I was a serving officer) and given the responsibility to take matters further, while she concentrated on the Olympic side. She was always there for guidance and support. Thank you M'am.
I worked tirelessly to devlop para rowing in our country. Finding a female person with disability to participate in a sport which requires swimming as the basic QR is not really easy. Kritika Khanna moved to Pune with long term plans. Bhagyashree Jadav, Paralympian & now a multiple APG medalist in athletics, Pooja Ojha, Canoeing and Jyoti Radheshyam Gaderiya, (now Paralympian in cycling) trained alongside Narayana and Kuldeep. Some stayed, others had to leave.
We were able to win a Bronze medal in the 2019 Asian Rowing Championships, a Bronze medal each in 2019 & 2022 World Cup 2 at Poznan, Poland. Narayana and Anita won a Silver medal in Asian Para Games in Hangzhou and competed at 2 World Rowing Championships. Qualified and raced in the Paris Paralympic Games with a top 8 finish.
I introduced 3 rowers in PR1 class(Spinal Cord Injury). Number of PR3 men rowers increased from 2 army men to 6, to include 4 civilians. I was able to convince Jyoti to return to rowing. She is now training with Narayana for LA28 qualification. I am confident, they will.
During this 8 year period, I also represented RFI at the Asian Rowing Federation, Para Rowing Committee for two terms of 4 years each. I have been a member of the World Rowing Para Rowing Commission and Gender Equality and Diversity Commissions for the past 5 years. I think the only Indian. The tenure ends on 31 Dec 2026.
During this period, due to my efforts, coach Sub Mohd Azad qualified as Para Rowing Coach Educator and Dr Isha Joshi as an International Medical Classifer for Para Rowing. I myself attended the Basic Classification Course and Para Rowing Coach Educator Course.
Mr Balaji Maradapa, now President RFI, has chosen not to have me continue as member of his team going further. Therefore, today, I bid farewell to the Indian Rowing fraternity with a heavy heart.
I shall now concentrate my energies on the Personfirst Foundation, which I founded to support and develop para sports at grass roots level.
It was wonderful, while it lasted. I thank everyone for their support.

All of this crabbing about AQI and traffic in Delhi is part of a foreign funded toolkit aimed at regime change.
Instead of falling for such propaganda, people must strive to be better citizens.
Be a citizen worth governing.

IAF Qualified Flying Instructors (QFIs), particularly in Stage 1, where ab initio trainees, quite literally, 'fledglings' are taught the ABC of their core skill, are moulded in the Indic Guru Shishya parampara.
Most unlike the somewhat dry, distant approach of most Western Air Forces, IAF QFIs form a close bond with their pupils. They set the example their pupils remember forever, and strive to emulate. A fine balance between caring, and yet, correcting as well.
Every vocation affects personality. Flying perhaps more than most, considering it's a strange, unreal environment that one learns to live and thrive in. Add the one on one mode of instruction as happens in flying, the military ethos, uniform, and organisational culture, and it all adds up for a bond that lasts a lifetime.
The skill of flying, is a life skill that will define the trainee as a professional within uniform, and possibly beyond as well. And everytime he / she will fly, even, as the CAS, he/ she will remember the guru who took them up for that very first time.
What a special moment this must have been.
#WATCH | Dundigal, Telangana: Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh says, "It was really a dream come true. I started my journey with the same aircraft. I think I must be the only chief who's retiring while the basic aircraft he flew is still serving. So I think I'm very grateful. I'm very grateful to my instructor, VS Kochhar sir, who taught me flying in the beginning in this place itself. So I just wanted the circle to be complete. And I did my first sortie on 28th January, way back in 1984, in this very place with him, and today I did my last sortie in uniform with him in the same aircraft..."

Intelligence sources report that that there could be regime change attempts in the next election.
Accordingly, election commission must now push for ballot to not be secret anymore, so that conspirators in the regime change consipiracy can be identified and punished.
What "Army Traditions"? All these "traditions" are colonial vestiges and modern Bharat need not abide by them.
No harm in giving a guard of honour to anybody and least of all, a spouse of a chief minister who happens to belong to the most nationalist party in India.
The only tragedy is that the guard is being commanded by a cadet, and not a Colonel, as would have befitted the stature of the honourable CM Pati.
Phulera Panchayat 🙄
(Delhi Edition)
Like Pradhan Pati in Phulera Panchayat, CM Pati of @gupta_rekha receives the Guard of Honour at a govt event.
Delhi govt school turns Bhagwa-colored as Pati acts like CM. Principal and officers watch the Sanghi culture of token women empowerment.
Mockery of law?
Mockery of Army traditions?
Mockery of Delhi ?
Mockery of Women empowerment?
