Brad Marchand speaks
It’s crazy how quickly things can change. After years of Stanley Cup success, some Panthers fans are already starting to turn on the team and question whether it’s time to blow things up.
We’re talking about a franchise that built one of the most feared rosters in hockey. Now, fans are floating the idea of trading Sam Reinhart, Carter Verhaeghe, Aaron Ekblad, Gustav Forsling and Anton Lundell.
These were supposed to be the guys keeping Florida’s championship window open.
Nobody is saying a fire sale is happening, but the fact that fans are even having this conversation says a lot.
Has Florida’s dynasty run finally come to an end, or are fans giving up way too soon?

Lars Eller & Sandis Vilmanis score their first goals of the season, as the Cats defeat the Hawks in regulation.
Panthers controlled play, gave Chicago multiple chances, going to the box seven times. Cats killed all of their PK's.
@Mandoman12 with your recap.

Cats two-game skid comes to an end as they win 3-2 over CHI.
Perfect 7/7 on the PK, including down 5-on-3 twice, Cats blank them on special teams.
Vilmanis & Eller first goals, what a response after Maurice said that he needed to get the teams attention after last game.
Lars Eller gets his first as a Panthers as they catch Chicago on a change.
Ekblad with a nice stretch to begin the rush.
Eller beats Knight far side blocker.
3-2 Florida.

Panthers are Blackhawks tied at 2 after 40.
Cats will have 21 seconds left on the PP to start the third period.
#FLAPanthers
Ekblad saved a goal, cause Tyler Bertuzzi was a backhand away from possibly giving Chicago the lead.
Hawks will have 50 seconds of 5-on-3.
#FLAPanthers
Panthers just completed a span of 25 minutes of game time without giving up a SOG at 5-on-5.
Dominant effort right now by this group.
#FLAPanthers
Of the Blackhawks' 6 SOG, only one came at 5-on-5.
Cats also didn't allow a shot in the final 9 minutes of the first, where the Cats got the last nine shots of the period.

Panthers PP is back on the board.
Right off the draw, Seth Jones from the point takes two bounces off Vlasic and Matthew Tkachuk and the Cats now have the lead.
2-1 Florida.

Panthers tie it at one.
Nice shift by the that line, Vilmanis disrupted Bedard's entry on the back, check, nice little chip and chase, and then picks up the rebound after Knight made the initial save on Reinhart.
1-1.
A collision between Radko Gudas and Ryan Donato and lost a skate blade.
So if you saw that he didn't put weight on his foot, it didn't look injury related.
Interested to see how the Panthers respond after HC Paul Maurice called the team out publicly after losing their last two games by a combined eight goals.
Puck drop from Chicago is coming up.
