Recently, I had an opportunity to learn more about the EME (The Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, @adgpi @artrac_ia) when I visited EME School Vadodara, on the invitation of the Commandant Maj. Gen. Mohit Gandhi. I was very impressed with the work done by the enthusiastic teams in the areas of weapon technology, drones and opto-electronics & Instrumentation. On this occasion, I delivered a talk on "Technologies and Leadership for Viksit Bharat" to the officers there, and we explored possibilities to collaborate even more strongly between Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya @gsv_vadodara and the EME. Delighted to be the Chief Guest and Keynote speaker at the "Vigilance Awareness Week" at the @WesternRly HQ, Churchgate, Mumbai, on 30 Oct 2026. The theme of this year is "Probity for Prosperity” (सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि). In my keynote address, I spoke about rapid progress of the country, increasing public capital expenditure for infrastructure sectors and in particular for Railways, wider aspects of vigilance (beyond punitive and preventive vigilance in financial matters) to everyday activities of our life, and our roles as individuals and organizations. The event was very well organized with active participation from the leadership and employees. Thanks to Sh.
