I think I can speak for the majority of Bearkat Nation... We love having Jack and the @snapbacksports crew sponsoring us and hang out. If you ever get a chance to meet if/when they visit your school, highly recommend going and having a chat with them. Great group of guys. Great publicity. The whole nation now knows we have an elite tailgate scene. It's all good from us

Say what you want about @jacksettleman and his approach, but this perfectly encapsulates where we are in college sports and how schools who never had a chance at relevance may just win.
Glad Jack just happens to have the foresight to try to make this shake.
Easy to call Ryan Reynolds @ Wrexham a genius now that it’s worked…

I could regurgitate a list here, but I'd rather point you to @March2ThePod they just put out an article and podcast outlining who, why, and if they'd be a good fit. Lots of that list are based off of confirmed finalists from last time along with insights into what the school is looking for. All of the shsu media's lists are likely all the samenor have lots of overlap, and M2TP did a great job breaking those down

A committee made up of 9 facility members/coaches along with CSA search and consulting will help make the new AD hire which is now expected to be finalized before winter break.

Sam Houston FIRES Phil Longo teapawt.org/i/broadcasts/1nJOLQMnz…
No D2 coach on this list should be considered. Especially not one who is currently 2-6 or another one that might be looking for a job after underperforming at their current school over multiple seasons despite having some of the top facilities in the country.

Now that Phil Longo is gone from Sam Houston it is important to remember how terrible Russell Martinez is at his job and replace him or separate him from athletic branding.
