Great reminder that teachers need to move and play too!!π Awesome ideas for staff to decompress and have some fun before a staff meeting!
It was staff meeting time @TribuneDrive. @ward_rich wanted to start it off with a little fun so why not have Connect 4, Checkers and Ping Ping setup! (teachers can play too!) Perfect soft start to our meeting! @hpe4pdsb @opheacanada @CIRAOntario @Supportphe @PDSBDirector

Bringing together our youngest and oldest students to learn and play is so important! The learning happening this past week @TribuneDrive was priceless! @hpe4pdsb and @PeelSchools who else has #PhysEd buddies for their K's? @opheacanada @PHECanada @CIRAOntario @Supportphe

Gr 2s @olopces designed a matching game using @ScratchJr. Ss created a game where the user has to choose the correct next stage of a frog's life cycle (#onted strand B). They designed their own sprites & coded them to say correct/incorrect when pressed. ππ½ππ½ππ½ @HWCDSB #stem

@Food4KidsHamOnt presents the annual Cards4Kids campaign. Remember that nutritional support doesn't stop during the Christmas break. Consider giving the gift of a donation especially if you are an @hwcdsb staff member. @JulieAngiolillo @AngelicaTarli @HwHansend

This time of year, we think of our brave Canadian Armed Forces members serving here in Canada and overseas. Thank you for all the sacrifices you make to keep us safe and defend the values we hold dear.

Today marks the beginning of #VeteransWeek. A time to honour and remember those who have served Canada, in times of war, military conflict and peace. This year also marks 75 years of the end of the Second World War. #LestWeForget #CanadaRemembers #GetYourPoppy

Just curious... does govt ever tell doctors how to doctor? nurses how to nurse? Police how to police? Firefighters how to fight fires? No? Then why does @Sflecce, who has no experience in education, constantly undermine teachers by telling them how to teach?

My sister just sent me this photo from her office window. She said the support for teachers can be heard on the 20th floor. Music playing: "we won't back down" #cutshurtkids @etfopresident @ETFOeducators @OECTAProv @TECT951 @Sflecce β at Toronto, Ontario

Visited the grave of my friendβs father and witnessed a remarkable ceremony. The letters on the white crosses almost disappear in the brightness of the stone, so a soldier fills the indentations with sand from Omaha Beach to bring the name forward. It sent shivers down my spine.

Itβs the 25th anniversary of John Candyβs passing. We cooked up a small tribute to a comedic genius and Canadian hero. If you havenβt seen much of his work, take a look at his films. He was a treasure. Thanks to @chriscandy4u and @therealjencandy. π¨π¦
