Sad to hear of the passing of poster artist Dan Goozee. Truly one of the greats and the genius behind a handful of James Bond masterpieces, including the iconic art for Moonraker, Octopussy and A View To A Kill. RIP ⭐️

“My recommendation to young artists is stay loose. Don’t worry about making mistakes. Have fun. Have a ball. Get excited, work yourself up; feel the excitement of creation! If you approach your art gingerly, with fear and timidity, you’ll never find yourself. Go ape! Go crazy! Mistakes can be corrected. Certain tricks can help you see your work more clearly. For example, turn it upside down. Get a whole other look at it. Or use a mirror even. See it in reverse. The idea is to see it from a different perspective. It may sound gimmicky, but tricks like these work.”

People are not waking up anyway.
Keep snoozing!
It's not a matter of life and death, right?

“Humanity has trapped itself into a parasitic relationship with Earth. A parasite doesn’t know it’s a parasite, because it does not know of any other way to exist: it simply takes for granted the nutrition it receives, without any consideration for its host
We need to rethink our entire mode of existence on this planet”

It is my belief, confirmed by evidence, that the climate crisis, or rather the reason for it, is far simpler than most imagine.
As I've often said, the climate crisis (really an overall ecological crisis) is different than anthropogenic climate change, if related to it.

looking at what happened to watches after quartz, the swiss indsutry shrank by 80% but focussed on bespoke, low availabilty, exclusivity, workmanship, human story and artistry, and is now quite a big industry, 20bn or so in switzerland and germany... so maybe something like that

There’s too much superficial worshipping of David Attenborough and not enough focus on what he is saying. He’s warning our lives are in danger! The future is not what most people think it is. We all have to peacefully rise up and protest and demand systemic global action
