I have two surface books. One charges but the screen doesn't work. The other one won't charge but the screen worked before it died.
I want to switch out the screens. I tried the paperclip method and sliding paper between the magnets, it's not working. I'm old and slow and it closes back to fast and the second tries don't work.
Any suggestions?
I would normally not make a post like this but tonight I am.
My niece was involved in a very tragic accident on Oct. 17th. It was late at night, just after 9 pm and she was on a state highway with her 7 year old daughter in her pick up truck. A woman was standing in the middle of the road and my niece struck her and killed her.
To say our family is devastated is an understatement. To say that woman's family is devastated is also probably an understatement.
Please pray for her. She is a hospice nurse and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They are farmers. They don't drink or do drugs or any of that stuff. They are all American family who do sports with their kids and we are all grappling with it. She's withdrawing a little and we are worried terribly.
Please pray for her and please pray for that woman's family. I cannot imagine how any of them feel.
I've seen so many complaints like this, since the announcement was made. I am really glad I waited and am still on the old Premium + plan. I guess the question is this:
When @x @grok @bot @poteto @SawyerMerritt @elonmusk and everyone else said "Hey, you'll get 2x, 4X, max etc. over what you are using now... what did that really mean?
2X over what metric? 4X over what metric? It feels like misleading advertising. When someone can tell me that the new plans will give me 2X/4X/10X over premium plus with actual usage/token number comparison I'll switch. Until then I'm sat.
This is bad @elonmusk I see these complaints all over my feed. Really not a good look for all of us who support you by paying. I'm just a small-time user who uses @bot to make my life easier in work and in my personal time. I'm grateful for the ability, but this really is false advertising from what I can see. Please fix it.
For everybody wondering if you should change to the new X unified plan, I would strongly recommend that you don't.
I almost never went above 50% of my grok usage on the premium plus plan I used to have, but on the new unified premium plan, I'm at 63% and trying to use it carefully. I absolutely would not have changed had I known this were the case, but @X had made statements that said it was more tokens per dollar or something on this new plan.
We really need to have like a plan between the $30 and the $100 plan. That would be the sweet spot for me.

North Dakota should observe Mountain Standard Time, but at least Central Standard Time is better than Central Daylight Time. Locations that observe overly fast clocks have higher rates of fatal accidents and chronic disease.

I am going to a celebration of life this Saturday for a friend of 15 years. We have laughed, cried, yelled at each other, done things for each other, and when she was at her sickest all I could do was just be there. Her wife is devastated and I am too.
