Kwasuka lokho, and she is likely not the only individual experiencing this issue. These are local elections meant to address the needs of residents within their own municipalities. Requiring her to vote in a different city for a mayor who will not represent her interests raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of the electoral process the IEC administers! @IECSouthAfrica, shame on you!

Fully agree, and I'll own it. I'm very much an ANC beneficiary.
BEE made it possible for the state to pay for my studies. After I qualified, it opened the door to a managerial role. I am where I am today because of policies the ANC put in place.
But make no mistake, that will not make me loyal to a party that today does not put South Africans first. Gratitude for what was done yesterday doesn't excuse what's being done today.
The best way to honour what we were given is to hold the people in power to the same standard that got us here. That's why I'm voting with my head, not my history.

I have noted the media statement issued by the National Department of Transport today.
Recollections vary, and in this matter they vary at the extreme ends.
I therefore respond using the Department's own documents, its own investigator's findings, and the confirmed findings of the Auditor-General of South Africa to refute them.
Further; I will today through eNCA make a Protected Disclosure on continued failure by my employer to recognize the harm this has caused, the threat to my physical and psychological safety and now, what I consider character assassination calculated for release after I gave Notice to my employer that I will today be making a protected disclosure on my case before the Labour Court.
