Instead of teaching my child Critical Race Theory I accidentally taught them Critical Thinking and now I'm finding it basically impossible to convince them they are Trans.

Ten years ago I wrote about my experience with my trans-identified daughter, who desisted. If the Conversion Practices Bill goes ahead, much of what I did & said back then would be criminalised.

The winning message is supporting trans people and also protecting women’s sex based spaces, like locker rooms, women’s shelters, women’s sports etc. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Shocking threats from @cityoflondon - if men aren't allowed to continue invading the Ladies Pond, they'll close it down altogether.
Literally saying they won't fund a service which only benefits women & girls, because they're not worth it.

By the way, any women who feel they should listen to this man berating us should probably be aware that he was in prison from the age of 14 to 47, continuously, for murder.
Just a public service announcement.

If the government has been taken by surprise by the pushback, then the activist takeover of the PLP is complete.
Judging by the tone-deaf government statement here, the pushback against the conversion practices bill has caught them by surprise. I wonder how long it will take for No 10 to register that continuing to repeat debunked lines about how ordinary parents aren't at risk of criminalisation simply won't cut it?

Then let them. I would rather it was destroyed than I was forced to lie about what it is. If we have to rebuild women’s spaces from the ground, we will. We have done it before.

The Democrats have done well in the US midterms, and I’m being assailed by messages from progressives, some of them friends, expecting me to share their joy.
Well, I don’t.
As I’ve said before, I’m no fan of Trump, either as a man or in his style of politics. And I used to be firmly on the Democratic side. I saw the Democrats as the sane party, the decent party.
But the truth is that, in my view, the more power the Democrats acquire, the more children will be harmed by gender ideology and the more women’s sex-based rights will be subordinated to the demands of men who claim to be women.
For me, it comes down to the thought of just one vulnerable child. Perhaps an autistic teenage girl, struggling with her identity, being told she’ll somehow be happier if she takes puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and perhaps even undergoes surgery to remove healthy body parts or reconfigure her genitals using techniques that would make Frankenstein blush.
It makes me feel sick.
And I cannot understand how people can enthusiastically support politicians who promote these medical interventions for vulnerable children.
When I raised these concerns with one jubilant friend, their response was: ‘That’s just one issue.’
One issue.
How does somebody perform the moral gymnastics required to dismiss the needless harm being done to vulnerable children as merely ‘one issue’?
For me, that response speaks volumes about what the modern Left has become. The willingness to overlook something so profoundly troubling because it conflicts with a wider political allegiance is extraordinary.
It reminds me of the saying attributed to Voltaire:
‘Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.’
And I increasingly wonder whether we’re witnessing precisely that phenomenon.
For me, the more power progressives acquire, the greater the risk that more children will suffer irreversible harm. It’s that simple.
So no, I’m not sharing the joy this morning.
I hope the Democratic Party eventually finds its way back to being the party I once admired. And I hope America’s future is shaped by politicians who put biological reality, women’s rights and the safeguarding of children ahead of ideology.
Because those things should never have become partisan issues in the first place.

It didn't just win in Washington - the 'protect girls' sports' initiatives won in ALL FOUR of the states that had them on the ballot (Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska and Washington).
We always said that if the people could decide, girls would get their sports and spaces back and we were right. The politicians who passed the laws allowing it didn't speak for the people.

I want to make this quite clear: If somebody fakes having a DSD/intersex condition, regardless if they are transgender identified or not, or for whatever reason, I will come for you. I will expose you. I will shame you. I will teach you a lesson. My condition and other DSD/intersex conditions are not props, nor weapons for other people's causes, we are not tokens, we are human beings, often living with some of the more challenging bodily issues, so respect us, and stop lying, stop weaponising us and stop misrepresenting us, or face the consequences.

A new law that risks criminalising parents who question whether their children are trans must be scrapped, MPs, peers and experts have demanded.
‘Gender’, as opposed to sex, is an anti-scientific myth. If a child with a penis announces that he is really a girl, parents and teachers have a positive duty to educate him in the scientific truth that he is a boy.
Of course no parent should use physical or psychological abuse for any reason. But if anyone should be prosecuted it is those who abuse their duty of care by encouraging children in the anti-scientific delusion that they can choose their own sex.

This was an important public interest story in my area of expertise - research integrity - which only a specialist reporter could have uncovered. UK universities receive billions of pounds in public money every year and their researchers should face scrutiny, especially when evidence of potential academic misconduct emerges timeshighereducation.com/opi…

You and your group of merry men repeatedly insert yourself into Claire’s posts and those of other women advocating for fairness and accuracy in parkrun, only to dismiss their concerns and question their motives.
What I find extraordinary is the sheer effort you devote to opposing something so straightforward.. meaningful sex-based results for women and girls, without excluding anyone from participating.
Why are you so determined to argue against fairness for women when it can coexist perfectly well with inclusion?
For someone who lectures others about engaging honestly, that’s a question you seem remarkably reluctant to answer. 🧐

The distinction isn't between 'trans' and 'cis'. It's between men who want to force their way into spaces where women and girls are vulnerable, and those who don't. The former, as any nine-year-old can understand, are far more likely to be a danger to women than the men who accept that women's safety, dignity and privacy means they should stay out of those spaces. The distinction isn't between men who claim to be women and those who don't, it's the difference between men who respect women's boundaries - trans-identified or not - and those who don't. As the old saying goes, 'good men stay out so bad men stand out.'

I hope the pillorying of the crashed Learjet female copilot has shown all of you that feminists were right about what we trying to warn everyone about for years:
So many men hate women to the point that they are incapable of logical thinking.
These men are operating purely off their spiteful emotions.
So many men hate women so much they are willing to lie and pervert any situation in order to blame the woman.
So many men hate women so much, they lied that Nathalia Gadelha, the copilot who was doing her job to the very end, crashed the plane and lied that it’s because she was a female pilot.
So many men hate women, that when the news reported that the pilot was actually a 55 year old man, men have now switched tactics and are lying that Nathalia was drunk, lying that she was on her phone using TikTok and she distracted the male pilot.
Men even lied that the pilot was Nathalia’s boyfriend and that the plane crashed because she was going on the trip to sleep with an old year old man and he couldn’t concentrate because of her!
How can you slander an innocent young woman like this????
SO MANY MEN HATE WOMEN THEY ARE SWITCHING LIES IN REAL TIME TO KEEP THE BLAME ON THE YOUNG WOMAN AS EACH OF THEIR PREVIOUS LIES IS BEING DEBUNKED.
This is a pathological level of lying that is driven by a society wide rotten sickness of hating women.
These men do not want to allow that poor girl to rest in peace even though she did nothing wrong.
They decided she must be at fault because she was a woman from the first moment the plane was reported crashed, and they have been lying like lunatics to defend that position ever since.
