It's been a busy 24 hours for @thameswater and their sewage dumping operation, now not only "world leading", in scale but Olympian in achievement.
Their sewage overflow at Ampney St Peter has been running for a total of 631 hours 32 mins in fact nonstop since 20th Dec 2022.

Sewage discharging into the wharfe. The sheer volume that is entering is shocking. Its impact on the river can be devastating. It takes one major pollution event to destroy a river for many years.
