LMAO Picard Is an idealised version of a British Naval Officer in a post scarcity society our progressive politics would look absolutely batshit crazy to him.

So much of left-wing antisemitism sounds like "Vatican city needs to be destroyed."
"what do you mean I'm attacking Catholics? I didnt even mention Catholics".
Let’s be clear about something.
El-Sayed chose to bring Hasan Piker into the Democratic primary for a critical swing-state senate race. He chose to tie himself to and elevate one of the most noxious, bigoted, divisive figures he possibly could. He campaigned with him five times. He spent election night of the primary at an “influencer” pool party with the guy. He set the tone for this entire campaign.
Since then, El-Sayed has been given ample opportunity to disavow Piker, to address the concerns of Jewish Dems, and to bring the party together. He’s rejected almost every single one. More often, he’s dug in and doubled down — as he’s doing now.
Christ, the man can’t even condemn an “it’s Jews making your groceries expensive” ad.
There’s one person and person alone who’s responsible for dividing Democrats and injecting groyper-style noxiousness into Michigan Democratic politics. His name is Abdul El-Sayed.

Hasan Piker's latest online rant targeting Michiganders in West Bloomfield Township, comparing the community to the KKK, should be condemned loudly. It is anti-semitic, divisive and deeply offensive.
I get that this is what he does for attention. But flippantly attacking a proud, diverse community — not to mention a political organizer doing the most American of things in our democratic process — reveals how misguided and uninformed he actually is about Michigan.
We don't mind throwing Jews under the bus because of The Bug Picture is quite the statement

So weird how all his surrogates happen to be insane bigots who hate Jews and America. Must just be a coincidence.

Jews, please leave. The left hates us. Register independent. At least you can be demonized with dignity.

To be clear, her highly sensible ask was that Abdul condemn a blatantly antisemitic ad. That bar proved too high, and instead he’s lashing (crashing?) out against his primary challenger (willing to support him!) who got 49% of the vote.

US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign is asking Haley Stevens to stay away from all future campaign events in the closing days of the race.
A source tells Politico that his team wants her to stay away “as not to distract from the central issues of the campaign.”

Even if he wasn’t the direct recipient of Qatari cash, Netanyahu is the beneficiary of the current scandal. The Joint List was barely tolerable to the Israeli public to begin with, thanks to members who call Hamas a charity and candidates who celebrated October 7. On election night it managed to make things worse. One of its MKs dedicated the victory to the Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and “occupied Jerusalem” and accused the government of genocide, and supporters at party headquarters reportedly capped the night with “Biladi, Biladi,” a Palestinian nationalist anthem. Now add Qatar, and Eisenkot's poisoned chalice has been laced with arsenic.
Even the more moderate Ra’am hasn’t come out with clean hands. The man caught with envelopes of cash was a senior figure at Siyua 48, the charity behind Ra’am, and the party’s Negev strongholds posted some of the sharpest jumps in turnout: the city of Hura rose from 49 percent to 79.1, while Rahat went from 60.6 to 82.
