brother i have been praying for this downfall since 2008
When Cunha scored against Arsenal and did that dance, I prayed for his downfall ever since

like all the other big 6 have needed coaches mutliple times since he left Arsenal. why havent they gone for him? they have no issue stripping villa for parts anyways.
Always find it funny when fans of other clubs try to gaslight on Emery's Arsenal stint. We know what we saw and it was diabolical, move on.

For context: this was his last speech before turning himself in, 8 years ago, when convicted of a crime he never committed. Lula was arrested so he couldn’t run the 2018 elections; so, certain of his innocence, he fought for it until the very end and spent over a year in jail
It’s time to summon the best video on the internet

Lula’s victory is an electoral defeat for the continental far right project amid Washington’s escalating imperial offensive in Latin America. The popular mobilization that made it possible deserves celebration. But defeating the far right electorally does not absolve progressive govts of their contradictions and accommodationism. Haiti cannot remain the exception to Latin American solidarity.
Despite how happy I am for Brazil, the hypocrisy of the international applause is hard to ignore. The same actors cheering Lula’s 4th term called Chávez a dictator for it and vilified PSUV for “human rights abuses” while turning a blind eye to Lula’s troops committing rape and war crimes in Haiti. Lula is afforded their sympathy because he maintained neoliberal economics, played nice with Noboa and Jolani, blocked Venezuela from BRICS, and aligned with U.S. intervention abroad. This election result is, without a doubt, a victory for the sovereignty of Latin America against egregious election interference. But not all those applauding are cheering for our sovereignty. And, as yet another Latin American country joins U.S. mercenaries in Haiti, it’s pretty gross that certain ‘human rights activists’ (especially the Latin American pachamama libs) ignore the stain on humanity that was MINUSTAH simply because it was in service of the U.S. interests.

You do know he got to UCL semi-final with Villarreal right? 😂 I have no idea why around this time of year every time Arsenal fans are out in their thousands trying to convince themselves he isn’t an elite manager. It’s so boring.

go after the politicians absolutely. but take this as an opportunity to bring people supposedly sharing in your joy to your side ideologically.
Look, I'll take it. But I don't get why Carney and Kamala partisans are cheering on Lula Bolsonaro is objectively closer to your ideological worldview

I have 0 clue how Lula is gonna govern Brazil for the next 4 years tho now that 75% of the government and judiciary is in the hands of the far right. He better be ready for a total political war

my theory is that sheldon undergoes a traumatic event at some point that reverts him to the base level sheldon we meet in bbt. for example he even reverts to wearing childish clothes even though he never wore them as a child.
she’s got a point though. young sheldon felt like an alternative universe where sheldon grew up to be different. idk how events from young sheldon could’ve lead to tbbt version of a character

BREAKING: Brazil's election could be annulled, according to the New York Times. Electoral lawyers say Brazil's current situation is "extremely serious" and a "critical situation." The NYT reports that confusion over a last-minute voting extension by Justice Cristiano Zanin, who was appointed by Lula, could lead to the election being annulled. "This is an extremely serious, critical situation," said electoral lawyer Priscilla Sodré Pereira to the New York Times. When Zanin made the last-minute decision to extend voting hours, some polling stations had already closed and shut down their voting machines. They could not reopen. "Fernando Neisser, an electoral law professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Brazilian research institute, said the election could be annulled if the margin is very narrow and it is shown that polling stations stayed open longer in areas that strongly favor one candidate," the NYT reported. Wow.
