In January, easyJet's CEO said Starlink's economics "aren't quite working for us." Today: Starlink across its A320/A321 fleet. Its first Wi-Fi ever, for 100M passengers a year. Airlines that say no keep ending up at yes. Who's the next holdout to flip? $SPCX ✈️🛰️

Anthropic going from about $1.25B a month to about $3.1B a month for SpaceX compute. Elon's biggest AI rival is now one of SpaceX's biggest customers, locked in through 2029. Picks and shovels, in orbit and on the ground. $SPCX 🛰️
ANTHROPIC AGREED TO SPEND UP TO $120.5B ON COMPUTE FROM SPACEX $SPCX The deals are with SpaceX's AI unit, for access to Nvidia $NVDA chips Once all the capacity is delivered, expected in December 2026, Anthropic will pay about $3.1B a month. The deals run into 2029. After early periods ending in January and March 2027, either side can cancel with 90 days' notice.

Same guy. 25 years later. Still waiting for the dip. 🚀 $SPCX

Because ground GPUs make money today. Orbital compute is the next step, not a replacement. And note who can still borrow $40B while debt markets shut out everyone else: the company with Starlink and launch revenue. $SPCX 🛰️
Why is SpaceX borrowing $40B to build “terrestrial” data centers? I was told repeatedly in advance of the SpaceX IPO by all of the “first principles”thinkers that “orbital” data centers are superior in every which way to “terrestrial” data centers..

SpaceX week ahead 🎃 • Early Tue (ET): Starlink from Vandenberg • Early Fri (ET): another Starlink, right before Halloween • Starbase: Ship 42 still needs its static fire before Flight 15, NET Nov 8, the first try at catching BOTH stages Trick or treat? The tower wants both

Elon: debt markets have nearly shut off for AI companies without revenue outside data centers. SpaceX still closed $40B for GPUs, because Starlink & launch pay the bills 🛰️🚀 200+ neoclouds are about to consolidate. Only one has a rocket company behind it. $SPCX
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

Update from Elon: "SpaceX is not buying any neoclouds. Pointless." Building, not buying 🛰️

Cybercab spotted in Queens, NYC 👀🚕 Out here on regular city streets under the overpass like it's no big deal. Robotaxi is coming to New York faster than people think ⚡ 📸 @VinccentWolf

Asked Grok about Tesla's Halloween mode 👻 Grok: "it's not on the FSD branch yet" My Model 3 on FSD: already dressed as a ghost with skeletons trick or treating 🎃 Grok might need a software update too 😂
My Model 3 dressed up for Halloween 👻 Trick or Treat mode: ghost sheet on the car, skeletons with candy buckets, and haunted organ music. Real test is Saturday night with actual trick or treaters. Who else has it on? 🎃

Elon adds: it's mostly callable debt for GPUs arriving in Q1 and Q2, so not a big factor this quarter. Investment grade with Starlink revenue behind it 🛰️

Flight 16 is being readied for Starship's first launch from Florida 🚀 Starship flying from Texas AND Florida is how a test program turns into a launch cadence. Who's road-tripping to the Cape for this one? $SPCX
We've been covering Starship Flight 15 preparations with Booster 22's Static Fire, but Flight 16 is also being readied and set to be Starship's Florida debut! Ryan Weber (@rweb11742) with the status, along with fresh flyover photos of the facilities: nasaspaceflight.com/2026/10/…

50+ Cybercabs running fans to F1 in Austin on a geofence stretched just days before the race 🏁 120k people, gridlock, nobody behind the wheel. If it works here, it works anywhere. Robotaxi just got its biggest stage yet 🚕
Over 50 Tesla Cybercabs spotted so far dropping off passengers today at the F1 race in Austin, Texas. Tesla expanded its Robotaxi geofence a couple of days ago to include the F1 race venue, ahead of today's race, which is expected to draw over 120,000 attendees.

463 Cybercabs in 52 days 🚕 Now the question for those of us with FSD in the driveway: when do personal cars get the same unlock outside Texas? My Model 3 in Rhode Island is ready to earn.
Tesla now has 463 Cybercabs operating in its Texas Robotaxi fleet. Considering Cybercab only launched 52 days ago, averaging 8.2 new vehicles per day is impressive. People have no idea how many Cybercabs Tesla will manufacture once fully ramped. Millions upon millions of Cybercabs will give rides everywhere.

408 Mbps over the Sierra Nevada. Faster than most U.S. homes, from an airplane seat. Aer Lingus already finished its long-haul fleet. Southwest goes fleetwide by fall 2027. Airlines that wait will be the ones selling the slow Wi-Fi. $SPCX 🚀
New Starlink in flight Wi-Fi review: "I was flying over the Sierra Nevada mountain range recently when I had a tech experience that left me enthralled. It also shows why I believe @elonmusk is the greatest technologist working today. Simply stated, I was blown away. Instead of playing a downloaded movie, I logged in to Netflix and couldn’t believe the quality of the streaming. So, I did what any broadband speed freak would do. I grabbed my Ookla app and tested the download speeds. It came back at a blazing 408 megabits a second. That’s roughly 30% faster than the median speeds for U.S. households, the vast majority of which have hardwired connections. I bring up this example because I believe it speaks volumes about how Musk just keeps on transforming the world around us." In fall 2027, Southwest Airlines expects to complete a fleetwide rollout of Starlink, becoming the first major airline to do so.
