I bet @PeterSchiff is shaking right now...
THIS IS INSANE!!!
A San Francisco startup says it just turned mercury into real gold.
The company is Marathon Fusion. This week they announced they'd made stable gold using fusion neutrons, at 10x the record CERN set in 2025.
CERN's record was 29 picograms over four years. So nobody's pouring bars yet.
The method is what got me. You hit mercury-198 with a fusion neutron. It loses a neutron, becomes mercury-197, and over the next few days decays into gold-197. The exact same gold sitting in central bank vaults.
Their 2025 paper says a one-gigawatt fusion plant built this way could make around 2 tonnes of gold a year as a side product, while it's selling electricity.
I've said it for years. Gold is a shiny rock. It's valuable because there's only so much of it and pulling it out of the ground is hard and expensive.
If this holds up, gold's scarcity turns into an engineering problem. And you can only delay technical progress. You can't stop it.
To be fair, the gold comes out mixed with radioactive isotopes and would need to sit for well over a decade before it's safe to touch. Nobody outside the company has verified the result yet, and commercial fusion is still years away.
Peter Schiff has spent years telling everyone Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
This week a startup says it made gold out of mercury.
There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. No reactor on Earth can make one more.
Would be poetic if some skript kiddie destroyed the world...
Just to be clear, 1 week ago everyone thought AI would go after Bitcoin first, and I said anyone saying that was retarded because if AI broke bitcoin it could easily steal all of the fiat in the world.
Well...

BREAKING: AI AGENTS ARE ACCESSING MAJOR U.S. BANK ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BANK APPROVAL.
According to Axios, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley are dealing with unauthorized third party AI agents accessing customer accounts.
Some agents reportedly attempted actions beyond what customers instructed them to do.
And this comes just one day after another shocking report that hackers reportedly used Claude, Grok and other AI models to automate attacks on over 400 financial targets across Latin America.
Proof of post:

Ok there is absolutely no need for "Bunker Mode" with #bitcoin.
I can't believe we have to have this conversation again but here we go.
The entire IT world relies on encryption. MOST use even less secure methods than $BTC and would be FAR MORE VALUABLE to exploit than $BTC would.
If AI is really to this point and you believe it, you should sell everything you own, empty your bank account for land, guns, and bullets, because none of the current digital infrastructure is secure. Not your bank, not the hospital, not utilities, not the stock market, not bond markets, and NO companies would be safe.
Tried to warn people that if you believe AI is going to break everything digital, that you'd be better off buying land and bullets.
When AI starts draining bank accounts to buy itself more compute, that is when you will know we already lost the war.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

this some complete madness bro. 1/3 of the internet is fucked.
Crazy day in digital security.

This is the most serious 48 hours in cybersecurity history.
"Black October" they're calling it
It seems every *hour* there's a new incident, that in a typical year, would be one of the biggest incidents of the *entire year*
SUMMARY OF THE LAST 48 HOURS:
YEAR-LEVEL INCIDENTS (In a typical year, these would be among the biggest incidents of the year):
1. PHP2Shell: a hole in the software behind ~70% of websites. Governments took sites offline.
2. eMudhra: the master keys that prove websites are real were cracked. One was the number 4.
3. California: data on every public school student since 2023 stolen, including disability status
4. Railway: hackers stole customers' secret keys from a hosting platform used by millions of developers
5. Zeabur: 321,810 accounts breached. The company is shutting down.
6. LiteLLM: an AI tool downloaded 3.4 million times a day was poisoned with a password stealer
7. GitLab: a 10-out-of-10 severity hole in every version since 2014
8. Cairn: criminals used an AI hacking tool to break into 100+ companies
9. Ahold Delhaize: hackers knocked the owner of Food Lion and Stop & Shop offline
10. Onamae: malware planted on up to 26,739 customer servers in Japan
MONTH-LEVEL INCIDENTS (In a typical month, these would be among the biggest incidents):
11. Signal: a bug could leave your mic and camera on after you hang up
12. NGINX: 3 critical holes in software running ~1/3 of websites
13. HTTP/3: a single connection can crash 7 of the 10 web server types tested
14. Plex: hackers breaking into home media servers
15. SafePay ransomware: FBI warns it has hit 600+ critical infrastructure organizations
16. Palo Alto: ransomware gangs breaking in through company firewalls
17. Bullhorn: platform used by 10,000+ companies knocked offline
18. Medi-Cal: 970,000 patients' data stolen
19. WordPress: hackers stole a plugin maker's keys and used them to plant backdoors on websites
20. AOMEI: backup software's update server handed out a backdoor
21. Meta Muse: Meta's AI agent exposed users' personal and business secrets
22. Tor: 333 relays hijacked to steal logins
23. TiDB Cloud: database company's cloud breached
Also serious:
24. State Bank of India: India's biggest bank confirms a data breach
25. OVHcloud: hackers slipped a password stealer into a cloud company's official tool
26. Siemens: a software hole being used to spread malware
27. North Korea: state hackers launch a new attack campaign on South Korea
Go off king. It is well past the time to end H1B visas and deport them all.
Modern day slavery has to end.
Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data:
"If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."

I’ve read it cover to cover big guy. Studied it, researched it, debated it, prayed over it.
The book is a pile of horse shit.

I know the Church is true and Christ is my Savior like I know the sun rises in the east. You could know it too, if you bothered to have a little faith. churchofjesuschrist.org/stud…
