Efetobore Timilehin Tega-Taire, a 21-year-old final-year anthropology student at the University of Ibadan (UI), can no longer see with either eye, and his father is struggling to raise N15.92 million for surgeries that doctors say could restore his sight. Timilehin, who was preparing for his final examinations and sign-out ceremony in November, has had problems with his eyesight for about five years. However, his condition recently worsened, leading to further medical interventions at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. Lucky Tega-Taire, his father who lives in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, told FIJ that the family had been referred to Skipper Eye-Q Super Specialty Eye Hospitals in Victoria Island, Lagos, after UCH said it lacked the necessary equipment to treat him. According to Tega-Taire, the hospital has estimated the cost of surgery at N7.96 million per eye, leaving the family with a total bill of N15.92 million for both eyes. He said the family had raised only N1.5 million and was appealing to the public for help.
Efe needs help... He's a great guy...

Just because you can make rice and stew doesn't mean you should go and open a food business, nah. All these food vendors in Agbowo will eventually poison me last last. 😭

Lol...I know that's exaggerated 😂 I wonder when the stove lifestyle began actually. I used electric stove back then sometime around 2003 to 2007.
It's been 70+ years of using stove. 😫 Thank you Father Lord. 🙏

I asked my younger brother in LAUTECH to send me his results, and he said they all have to go to their HOD and collect it in hard copy I didn't believe him until he sent his results to me printed on a paper. Do the students not have an e-portal or what? 🤦‍♀️

I need to work on my sleeping ethics, too poor. I always sleep so late and wake up early. For the past 3 days, I've been sleeping around 3:30am, wake up around 6:30am. I sleep late everyday, and I don't sleep in the afternoon, it makes me feel unproductive. Make e no kpai me sha.

From the Great Ransome-Kuti Hall, Hall of Great Men❤ At UI, your Hall is more than a place of residence; it's an identity, a family and a bond that lasts beyond graduation. Once a Kutite, always a Kutite❤️👑
Coming from OAU to UI, one of the biggest culture shocks I experienced was just how fiercely devoted people are to their halls. It influences almost everything about you. It's almost cult-like at this point. Tch!

One day, we'll talk about the overpriced private hostels in this school. 1.1M for one man room when the school fees is less than 300k ? Let's be for real.
