The Epstein Files are an interesting resource. They're especially good value for those still trapped in the whole kabuki of liberal democracy, rule of law, just society, meritocracy, party politics, constitutional checks and balances, accountability for crimes, government legitimacy, finance capitalism, etc etc. "Everything you were brought up to believe and trust in turns out to have been a clever lie." Beyond question, the Epstein Files have revealed an extensive multinational cast of incestuous often psychopathic predators — many already known to be prominent players in (mostly criminal or above the law) networks of deeply entrenched insider privilege. Epstein is the tip of the iceberg. Public opinion and prurient social media notwithstanding, however, there's only so far these current archives of redacted (plus over half unreleased) files can go in a legal, criminal accountability sense. Real investigations, questioning, physical arrests, criminal charges, court trials, and eventual convictions need the police and justice officials to take up the task, backed by both executive and legislature, and in full possession of all unedited, uncovered, unredacted materials. At present, the U.S. DOJ and various intelligence agencies are obstructing justice in full public view; and many corrupt politicians and disingenuous journalists are helping them evade responsibility. Will public pressure force the so-called public servants to honestly do their jobs? #EpsteinFiles #HappyValentinesDay

Questions, Perceptions, Agency, and Structure An ongoing debate in the alternative media space revolves around a quiet epistemological tension: does mapping the sheer reach of US-led imperial strategy—its financial hooks, media ownership networks, NGO pipelines, and algorithmic architectures—inadvertently breed defeatism among those trying to resist it? The concern is understandable and certainly not without a kernel of truth. Indeed, when every protest movement or electoral shift is dissected to reveal the fingerprints of Western private equity, state-backed foundations, or sanctions pressure, it can easily feel as though human agency is being erased. To anybody looking for a horizon of hope, being told that a popular movement is (potentially) structurally compromised can sound like a call to stay home because the game is rigged in advance anyway. However, this friction often comes down to confusion between two very different genres of political writing and research, and, consequently, two ways of processing political reality. (Of course, there are certainly more than two options, but I’m simplifying here.) Holding Dialectical Truths All at Once To make sense of our current (or any) conjuncture, we have to be able to hold multiple, seemingly contradictory truths at the same time without collapsing into binary thinking. Whenever an opposition movement erupts against a government—whether we are looking at Eastern Europe, Latin America, or parts of Asia—two realities almost always coexist on the ground: The Material Base of Grievance: Millions of ordinary people experience legitimate anger over corruption, decaying public infrastructure, ecological extraction, and the comprador balancing acts of their domestic elites. Their frustrations are certainly not invented in a think tank in Washington or Brussels. The Mechanisms of Capture: At the same time, the transatlantic ruling strata maintain a permanent, highly sophisticated infrastructure—intelligence-linked media conglomerates, NGO networks, think-tank policy pipelines, and targeted financial sanctions, just to name a few—designed specifically to harvest legitimate public anger and steer its institutional outcome once power successfully changes hands. Pointing out the existence of the second point does not negate the first, nor does it insult the people resisting in the streets. I’d argue that one of the decisive political questions is not whether the CIA invented a population’s grievances out of thin air. The question is whether a movement possesses the organizational independence, ideological clarity, and material autonomy to prevent itself from being used and digested by a foreign or domestic comprador power bloc. The Rallying Cry vs. The Strategic Blueprint Why, then, does research into imperial mechanisms strike some observers as demoralizing, while others find it clarifying and urgent? It helps to view this not as a moral failing on either side (or even intelligence operations?), but as the difference between two distinct functions in political communication: emotional catharsis and strategic cartography. Every movement needs the genre of the rallying cry. People need to feel solidarity, moral indignation, and the emotional catharsis of seeing power challenged in the streets. However, when politics is experienced primarily through screens in an atomized society, there is a natural gravitational pull toward consuming conflict as a morality play of heroes against villains. When something interrupts this narrative—for instance, by pointing out which think tanks or transatlantic organizations are already influencing the transition agenda—it deflates any hope. If our mode of engagement is cheering from afar, losing an idealized narrative can feel like paralysis. For those looking at politics through the lens of strategy and organization, however, identifying and understanding the mechanisms of imperial capture has the opposite effect. An attempted X-ray of the apparatus then provides an operational blueprint of what seems to be going on, what could happen, what must be avoided, what needs to be strengthened, and what must be thought anew. For example: Outsourcing a movement’s communication infrastructure to foreign-funded corporate media; relying on "leaderless," horizontally vague mobilizations whose political programs are so broad ("rule of law," "modernization") that external institutions like the EU or IMF can effortlessly step in and fill the policy vacuum the day after an election (and maybe even before that) might be something to avoid. Independent media and domestic financial circuits that cannot be strangled by a single sanctions letter; clear working-class material demands that cannot be easily co-opted by neoliberal technocrats; and finding autonomous, low-surveillance spaces where participants are politically educated before a crisis hits, could be something to strengthen. The Value of Observation (if you are an outside observer, that is) Because the relation of social forces inside any country is fluid, adopting a posture of patient, empirical observation—judging movements and class factions by their concrete material actions over months and years is strategic common sense. Nothing produces more lasting demoralization than cheering uncritically for an "anti-establishment" wave, only to watch a new government hand the country over to transnational capital or military alignment six months later because nobody wanted to examine the structural strings attached beforehand. Naming the dangers early is one step in how movements might inoculate themselves against such betrayal. Brazil as One Case We do not have to speak in abstractions to see how analyzing imperial infrastructure leads to practical action rather than defeatism (not to mention the public and media-mediated research on color revolutions and imperial interference done throughout Latin America to strengthen, not weaken, resistance). The recent presidential runoff in Brazil on October 25 offers a textbook case of converting past tactical defeats into a new operational plan. Across Latin America over the last several years, the Left, or at least Progressive forces, suffered heavy blows inside the digital public square. It became undeniable that the social media space is commanded by US-owned tech monopolies whose algorithmic architectures structurally reward right-wing outrage, atomization, and disinformation. After the first round of the Brazilian election on October 4, when Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva trailed Flávio Bolsonaro by more than two million votes, a defeatist reading of that structural reality would have concluded that the US-owned algorithmic cage is simply unbeatable. Instead, the campaign’s communication strategists treated their past defeats on US platforms as diagnostic data. Recognizing that traditional, top-down institutional messaging was being buried by Meta and X, Congressman André Janones and the reorganized second-round team mapped how the far right gamed platform visibility and reverse-engineered the process. Through a centralized WhatsApp coordination channel dubbed "Lula’s Army" (Exército do Lula), the campaign issued coordinated, daily digital "missions." Millions of supporters acted in unison to trigger search autocompletes, flood comment sections, and force the algorithms to surface concrete working-class policy proposals, such as ending the grueling 6x1 workweek in favor of a 5x2 schedule and introducing zero-fare public transit (tarifa zero). The Indispensable Anchor: Physical Space Let's not forget, however, the Brazilian turnaround also proved the limits of the digital sphere. As post-election analyses have pointed out, "gaming the algorithm" was surely not the only action taken here. What the digital counter-offensive actually did was provide rhythm, talking points, and morale to an already-existing physical base—millions of trade unionists, neighborhood activists, and grassroots movements like the Landless Workers' Movement (MST). People took the arguments offline into material space: into workplaces, family kitchens, church groups, and working-class neighborhoods, driving a three-million-voter surge in turnout that flipped the election by 4.4 million votes on October 25. Digital tools were essential for rapid mobilization and breaking an algorithmic blockade, but they only worked because they were anchored in durable, face-to-face organization in physical space. Some Questions We Need to Ask Ourselves Looking at the strength of the transnational cage—whether it is the silent administrative state of exception hardening across Europe, the financial and media leverage deployed in Eastern Europe, or the algorithmic monopolies of Silicon Valley—is only demoralizing if we expect history to be the subject, instead of understanding ourselves as the subjects driving history, slowly and often, painfully. Once we treat critical research as a diagnostic tool rather than a prophecy of doom, a much more constructive set of questions opens up in front of us: When we look at a rising protest movement, where are its independent material or media structures, and where is it vulnerable to elite or foreign capture? How do we use digital platforms to break information blockades in the short term without trapping ourselves in the algorithmic panopticon—and how do we funnel that energy into organizing in low-surveillance physical spaces of regular convergence? How do we fuse immediate, practical mutual aid in our neighborhoods with continuous political education, so that when systemic crises hit, people respond as an organized subject with a shared horizon rather than as atomized spectators? Understanding the blueprint of the cage is not supposed to be the end of the story. How else will we know where the bars are weakest? In other words: Optimism of the will, pessimism of the intellect.

Serbia's outvoing political class, Vucic included, has been a crooked cabal for years. But Student List is a strange gestalt and it's rolling back campaign promises already. SL techniques include NED-EU false dichotomy strategy that's toxic to open discourse. And to what end? Serbia in EU, sovereignty dismantled. Maybe. Serbia remains a powder keg, however, and for now SL is moving softly so as not to spark a real revolution. Early signs look bad for Serbian genpop but merit scrutiny because this may be the first example of a new, more advanced 'color revolution' subversion playbook. #studentlist #Serbia

🇺🇦REVOLUTION IN KYIV! I will now explain what, according to the information currently available, is happening right now in Kyiv, Ukraine. I urge @elonmusk Elon Musk, as well as all journalists, reporters, and bloggers, to help bring the truth to the attention of the world! Activists and citizens claim that they have discovered a private house in Kyiv where Zelensky’s authorities, as well as representatives of the leadership of the National Guard and the Azov unit, are illegally holding approximately forty men. According to eyewitness accounts, people are being tortured and beaten there, and money is being demanded from their families in exchange for their release. Throughout the entire day, the police and other law enforcement agencies, which are under the control of the authorities, refused to ensure the release of the people from this illegal detention. Later, more and more Ukrainians began arriving at the building. People attempted to storm it, demanding the immediate release of those being held inside. Then several men were successfully freed from the captivity of the Ukrainian authorities: the men had their ribs broken and their eyes gouged out; they had been blinded. Witnesses also claim that, in front of other prisoners and detainees, as an act of intimidation, one person was killed — executed. Over the past month, eight Ukrainians who did not want to be sent back to the war were killed there. They were officially registered as missing, and their bodies were buried in a forest near Kyiv. Their families are being given false information about their disappearance on the front line. Later, the Head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Budanov, arrived at the scene. According to those present, his position provoked outrage among the citizens, who were demanding the release of the people. Budanov sided with those holding people captive. After that, Budanov stated that similar places where Ukrainians are illegally detained exist not only at this address but also in other regions of the country. He knows about this and considers it normal. Then a 14-year-old child was discovered in the house who, according to eyewitness testimony, had been subjected to brutal torture and beaten with a shovel. In the video, the child is in a state of severe shock. After this, according to reports from participants in the events, unknown individuals wearing balaclavas arrived at the scene and began beating the protesters — these are the authorities’ gangs, which arrived as soon as Budanov fled the scene. In addition, eyewitnesses report power and internet outages throughout the entire district, as well as the use of electronic warfare equipment. According to them, all of this may have been intended to prevent information about the events from spreading. Emergency medical personnel who took part in the release of the prisoners stated that they are being threatened with death. The world must know the truth. The United States, Europe, and international human rights organizations cannot ignore such allegations and continue supporting Zelensky.

🇺🇦 Picture the scene on the outskirts of Kiev tonight, where the commander of Ukraine's National Guard, Oleksandr Pivnenko, stood outside a private house in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka facing a furious crowd of his own citizens and admitted that the men being dragged out of its basement were servicemen "caught after going AWOL and returned to their units", only hours after the police had sworn that reports of people being illegally held and tortured there "do not correspond to reality". When a medic was finally allowed through the door, he counted roughly 25 to 30 men crammed underground and came back out saying the people down there "don't know who they are or what status they're in", and four of them were carried to the ambulance crew, one in serious condition (but of course asking whether they were tortured is Russian disinfo right?), according to TSN and BBC Ukrainian. So in the space of a single evening the official story travelled from "nothing to see here" to "they were deserters anyway", which is how the Empire of Lies has always worked: deny first, then reclassify, and pray the cameras leave before the questions arrive. The amount of double standards and contempt the Western Mockingbird media has for Ukranians is sickening. At least pretend to do your damn jobs! Nobody has proven torture YET but the visuals are damning and the Kiev cartel has less than zero credibility. What is no longer in dispute is damning enough on its own: a private house, a hidden basement, men rounded up for walking away from a war they never voted for, and a puppet state perhaps on orders from Western Europe whose first reflex was to pretend none of them existed. The timing is almost theatrical, because this very weekend the Council of Europe solemnly marked Russia's exit from the anti-torture convention on 1 November and, in the same breath, praised Kiev for letting inspectors visit "any place of deprivation of liberty within its territory at any moment", so the inspectors now have an address waiting for them on the edge of the capital, should anyone in Western Europe care to book the appointment. If this basement had been found in Belgorod it would already be on every front page from Lisbon to Helsinki, with a von der Liar statement before dinner and a fresh sanctions package by Wednesday, yet just outside Kiev's ring road it becomes a "controversy", the people asking questions become "local residents", and everyone is gently reminded to "use only official sources". Nor does asking any of this make anyone a Kremlin bot, since these are Ukrainian men, filmed by Ukrainian citizens, in a Ukrainian suburb, demanding of a Ukrainian general "who gave you the right?" This is what fighting to the last Ukrainian looks like once the volunteers have run out and the kidnappers masquerading as recruiters have run out of patience, not on a front line drawn on a NATO briefing map but in a basement on the edge of Kiev, while the same Brussels priesthood that lectures the world about "European values" averts its eyes and signs the next cheque. So will the inspectors be knocking on that door this week, or do the European "values" stop at the border of whichever regime Brussels happens to be funding?

The U.S. election is very important to many tens of thousands of people. It will change the lives of at least 535 members of Congress. It'll define the career opportunities for 1000s of staffers and party bureacrats. Relative to each other, some factions in the American elite will gain, others will lose. Of 340 million Americans, maybe 0.01% will have a different future based on U.S. election results. For everyone else, 99.99% or 339.97 million Americans, who wins the election will be no more impactful than the winning finalist on America's Got Talent. They have no role in U.S. government decision-making, no say in policy, no better or worse prospects under Democrats or Republicans. General population is prey, not participant. American democracy is a confidence trick. Waste time on its details if you find it amusing or profitable. Nobody in the power elite cares. #Midterms2026

Explosive admission! The head of the Mossad, David Barnea, admits that Israel used ordinary Iranians as tools to protect Mossad operatives in the country. Rarely will you find a more crude admission of how Israel deliberately and carelessly put thousands of people it claimed it sought to liberate in harm’s way: In June 2025, the Israeli spy agency deliberately published multiple videos in real time of its agents acting against in Iran to compel the Iranian government to arrest as many people as possible. “We wanted to make sure they arrested so many people in Iran that they wouldn’t be able to distinguish the wheat [the actual Mossad agents] from the chaff and would eventually release everyone,” he said. “You have to imagine that when you arrest 21,000 people, even if you’ve caught an agent or two, eventually you have to release them... the IRGC would have no way of knowing who was a real agent with such a vast number of detainees." Barnea added that many of those arrested or executed by the IRGC as “Mossad agents” had nothing to do with the agency. jpost.com/middle-east/iran-n…

Public discourse must stay trapped in party-centric division and game playing 'analysis' – speculating, arguing, 'crunching numbers', etc – so these meaningless elections consume all available time and energy without anyone challenging anything that matters to the Power Elite.
True. We have seen a LOT of game playing with early vote "analysis" this cycle, and just so everyone understands, the gaslighters hurt Republicans. Badly. When there's a fire, you don't sit on your ass and wait until the flames consume you. You put it out!

How do governments survive next to the imperial core? In this segment of my conversation with Jeff Rich on The Burning Archive, we look at what Lula’s re-election in Brazil means for the wider Latin American political landscape, and why analysts in Mexico were saying, "If Lula loses, we will be alone." Across South and Central America, a wave of right-wing and ultra-right presidents, many holding dual US citizenship, has accelerated the region’s integration into the US-led security-military establishment. While Lula still faces obstruction from a right-wing Senate and ongoing US pressure, holding the Brazilian presidency slows down the full integration of the hemisphere and keeps Mexico (its people and government) from standing isolated against economic and financial coercion. We also unpack how Mexico weathers constant hybrid destabilization from its northern neighbor: from opposition state governors attempting to invite the CIA, DEA, or US military across the border, to sudden visa cancellations for Morena officials, media warfare, and a former Green Beret veteran of El Salvador and Yugoslavia stationed at the US embassy. What has kept those tactics from breaking Mexico’s political project? Not just institutional maneuvering at the top, but an organized social base built through mass political education: free ongoing courses in political theory, history, and governance, massive public book fairs as well as other educational mass events, and town-to-town, street-to-street dialogue on new legislations, a process that speaks with people rather than at them. When a population is politically conscious and organized from below, standard imperial destabilization playbooks cannot easily break that wall. I’m not done with you Elon. The grand champion of government efficiency. The billionaire savant who was supposed to blast into Washington, expose all the waste, eliminate the rampant fraud, and show the rest of us incompetent peasants how it’s done. Well, I’ve been looking into how that little DOGE experiment turned out. And holy fucking shit. The Government Accountability Office, an independent federal watchdog, examined DOGE’s ridiculously massive savings claims. You know what they found? DOGE claimed $1.7 BILLION in savings from a Defense Department contract that hadn’t even been terminated. The contract was still there. The supposed savings? Zero. Zilch. A big egg. Of 264 federal leases DOGE listed for termination, 108 were already being phased out before DOGE even existed and Elon maneuvered his pineapple shaped upper half into the Capitol. And nearly TWO THOUSAND contracts they claimed to have terminated? Still weren’t terminated. Two fucking thousand. Auditors couldn’t adequately verify enormous portions of DOGE’s advertised savings either. In other words, straight lies. Possibly crimes. Imagine an ordinary federal employee claiming billions in savings that didn’t exist, then failing to explain the numbers when auditors came asking. Elon Musk and his little taint licking army of efficiency enthusiasts would be crying fraud from every corner of America. But when it’s their demiurge Elon? Silence. For a man who demands receipts from the entire federal government, Musky sure has an awfully difficult time producing his own, doesn’t he? And spare me the mythology of the self made megagenius personally fireman’s carrying humanity into the future while hopping between K holes and playing his boosted Diablo account. Thousands of workers do the work, but the billionaire becomes a god. That tracks. And while we’re discussing this “self made megagenius,” remember his companies have benefited from tens of billions in government contracts, loans, subsidies, tax incentives, and other public support. Some contracts paid for valuable services. Cool shit. But it wasn’t just him. Public institutions helped. Taxpayers helped. We the people helped. Scientists, engineers, factory workers helped. Then the richest man in the room gets treated like he personally invented our future. You know what really bothers me? The staggering double standard. A government employee makes an accounting error? Incompetent trash. An ordinary worker needs public assistance? Lazy parasite. We can hardly blow off an unpaid traffic ticket without a bench warrant. But a billionaire benefits from government support and oversees an initiative whose savings claims don’t withstand scrutiny? He’s a genius. A goddamn visionary. Saving civilization and cradling humanity itself. Are you people fucking serious? I don’t hate Elon Musk because he’s wealthy. I don’t hate anyone. And I don’t deny his companies have accomplished extraordinary things. They have. I object to the grotesque transformation of financial success into unquestionable moral and intellectual authority, to the erasure of the people whose labor makes those accomplishments possible, and to watching this asshole demand accountability from ordinary Americans and immigrants while his cult refuses to demand the same from him. You wanna celebrate technological progress? Wonderful. Celebrate the engineers. The scientists. The factory workers. The guys who sweep the floor at night. And if you celebrate the billionaire who helped finance and organize it, at least acknowledge the difference. The Earth doesn’t revolve around Elon Musk. Humanity’s future shouldn’t depend on whether he gets his ego stroked off. For fuck’s sake, stop worshipping billionaires. Stop kneeling. It’s pathetic. They’re people. Albeit shitty people. And even if they’re lizards they should be held to the same standards as the rest of us. No throne is beyond judgment. And where’s my fucking DOGE check.

Can we stop talking about "former" intelligence agents and the podcast drama between them and maybe focus on real issues that matter? How about "independent" media covers the many disturbing developments courtesy of the government (and the broader global governance structure) is currently doing, which in many areas is drastically under-reported, and try and hold actual power to account instead of reality TV-style mudslinging. Isn't it supposed to be different than mainstream media? In the event these people don't still work for intelligence, they are doing their work of divide and conquer and distract for them. I for one am tired of having this dramaslop algorithmically thrown at me.
