Is there a reason we don't just use this to determine the CFP?

"Look at that slate, by the way. I need to say something, and I've never been more serious about something in college football... If you've got anyone getting married this Saturday, unfamily them or unfriend them, and don't go. Actually refuse to go." - Matt Barrie 🏈🎙️

Heck, just kill the committee and use the consensus fan rankings.

The College Football Playoff Rankings are TERRIBLE AND MAKE ZERO SENSE.
Here is what the CFP Rankings should have been.

Hey guys can you believe we ranked all the teams that we have a TV deal with for the playoff that we own?
History! Wow. How’d they do it?

Here's the SEC's entire shtick:
-10 SEC teams are ranked to begin the season
-An unranked team beats one of those ranked teams
-"Wow, the unranked team must be good because they just beat a ranked team, so we should rank them now"
-10 SEC teams still ranked
-Repeat

AP Poll just keeps getting worse.
1. Wake Forest at 14!? They are 7-1 and has DOMINATED their last four games 197-31
2. Look at the first point again.
3. Texas Tech is 7-1 and has two ranked wins… somehow between multiple 2-loss teams
4. 11 teams from the SEC?! For real?

It literally can’t be any more rigged.
Georgia loses to 4-4 Auburn at home, Auburn subsequently gets destroyed by 21 points and by 30 points in each of the next two weeks.
Utah is undefeated, with a Top 15 win, and just ragdolled 5-2 Cincinnati yesterday.
Who cares though! Georgia is SEC! They can’t possibly ever be punished for losing to horrible teams! Every day they kill the sport more.

I like this but how is every time in the 'southeast' west of every team in the 'south.' I just can't get behind that.

I like this format, need to look at team distribution but this is exactly where they need to be going.
