Oil's choke point isn't barrels. It's hulls.
At least 23 ships hit in or near Hormuz in the first two weeks of October, 5+ in the engine room.
A tanker with a gutted engine room is out for months.
Watch freight as tankers keep getting hit daily.
$RAPP RAP-219 hit its primary in bipolar mania. 3.1-point YMRS edge over placebo at week 3, p=0.045.
The number that matters: placebo patients dropped 12.3 points. Drug arm dropped 15.4.
Psych trials rarely die on biology alone. They drown in placebo response.
That's the problem NetraMark $AIAI.TO works on. NetraAI has publicly presented placebo-response modeling on a 378-patient bipolar trial.
Lots of names like this in biotech right now. Down every day for 3 months+.
“WTF is going on. Somebody clearly knows something. Clearly there is no buyout being leaked, so how does this thing even recover?!”
Then $SLN woke up to a 130% premium buyout…
Hard not to let noise affect your psyche when something sells off every single day for months straight. But, look…if there’s a real asset under the hood you can go from zero back to hero overnight.
I bought a little $SLN on the data
watched it go down daily for weeks never added because I was worried people knew something and it would play out when they disclosed full data set
sigh
Anglo American $AAL.L CEO told the FT that tech companies are knocking for equity stakes to lock in copper for data centers.
Not offtake alone — actual equity interest. I’ve heard this before. I’ll believe it when I see it.

A cancer drug just passed its Phase 3 trial, and the active ingredient comes from Cold War nuclear bomb material the US government was paying to destroy.
The drug is actinium-225 attached to a peptide that hunts down a receptor on neuroendocrine tumor cells. Once it docks, the actinium fires off alpha particles that travel only 2 to 3 cell widths before stopping. The tumor cell dies. The healthy cell next door barely notices.
The science was the easy part.
Actinium-225 is one of the rarest usable substances on earth. For decades, nearly the entire global supply came from a single thorium-229 sample at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, milked about 8 times a year, yielding roughly 1.2 curies annually. Enough for clinical trials and not much else. That was the whole planet's supply.
Thorium-229 decays out of uranium-233, material the US produced for its nuclear weapons program. The Department of Energy classified that stockpile as waste and has spent years paying contractors to dispose of it.
Then someone realized the waste contained the parent isotope of the best cancer-killing atom we've ever found. Bill Gates's TerraPower now partners with the DOE contractor to pull thorium-229 out of the uranium before it gets destroyed. They've extracted over 15 grams so far. Before this project, about 1 gram existed outside Oak Ridge in the entire world.
At full scale, that one recovery effort yields around 90 curies of actinium-225 per year, enough to make 100x more doses than humanity could produce before.
Bristol Myers Squibb paid $4.1 billion for RayzeBio, the startup behind this drug, before the Phase 3 even read out. They built a plant in Indianapolis that ships every dose within 3 days of production, because actinium-225 has a 10-day half-life. The medicine decays while it travels.
The best cancer-killing atom we know of spent 60 years sitting in a Tennessee stockpile marked for disposal.
Bristol Myers $BMY announced a radioactive peptide that targets cancer cells and delivers radiation to destroy them has just succeeded in a Phase 3 trial.

Millionaires in BC currently face 53.50% income tax rates. And that is supposedly not enough??
As Margaret Thatcher once said, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.

$LITE CEO: "Next year with the advent of CPO and NPO in 2027, our estimates are that we'll be undershipping demand...
By 70%. Literally 70%. So we can only supply 30%.
And this has caught us by supply. By 2029-2030, we get to some level of balance."

Most failed Phase 3 trials aren’t failed drugs. They’re failed designs.
Broad enrollment buries responder signals in heterogeneous populations. The “average patient” is a fiction.
