God is never nervous. He is never surprised. Never scrambling. Never reacting. Never wondering what happens next. Kings rise because He permits it. Nations fall under His hand. History moves toward His appointed end. "Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases." - Psalm 115:3

How did educated Nigerians, including much of our media, come to accept the term “bandits” for organised armed groups that massacre civilians, perpetrate mass rape, ambush military convoys, attack military aircraft, extort billions through ransom and illegal taxation, and seize, govern and violently defend territories for years? I find this persistent mischaracterisation deeply disturbing, particularly from journalists, security analysts and public officials who should understand the gravity of the crimes they are describing. At what point did sustained, organised violence against civilian populations, accompanied by territorial control and systematic intimidation, become something as casually described as “banditry”? This is not a harmless semantic distinction. Language shapes public understanding, influences policy responses and determines how seriously society confronts atrocities. When we minimise the identity of perpetrators, we risk diminishing the enormity of their crimes and obscuring the experiences of their victims. Nigeria's security crisis is grave enough without the intellectual dishonesty of sanitising terrorism through convenient vocabulary. Call terrorism by its name. Call those who perpetrate it terrorists.

The biggest threat to Christianity isn't atheism. It's fake Christianity. A gospel with no repentance. A faith with no obedience. A church with no truth.

If we were sitting together having coffee today, I would reach across the table, look you in the eyes, and say: God is writing a beautiful story for you. You can be at peace knowing He is doing more on your behalf behind the scenes than you could ever imagine. ❤️

One of the reasons so many average people stay poor is because they believe they are special. They believe their life is going to magically change because they're going to get a letter in the mail from magic school inviting them on an adventure. The reality is, we get those letters every single day. They just look like risk and a shitload of work, with no guarantee of a payoff.

Men, if God has blessed you with a wife and children, He has entrusted you with a tremendous responsibility. Love your wife sacrificially. Be faithful to her. Cherish her. Let her see Christlike love in how you speak to her, serve her, and treat her. (Eph. 5:25) Your children need more than your provision. They need your presence, patience, instruction, discipline, and godly example. (Eph. 6:4) Lead your family in prayer. Open the Bible with them. Make your home a place where God's Word is honored and obeyed. (Deut. 6:6-7) When you sin against your wife or children, humble yourself. Confess it. Ask forgiveness. Show them what genuine repentance looks like. Remember, your family sees the man you are when nobody else is watching. Be the husband who points his wife to Christ and the father who teaches his children to follow Him. That is a legacy worth leaving.

Jesus said, "You will recognize them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:16) You can claim to love Jesus, quote Scripture, attend church, and plaster Bible verses all over social media. But if your life is marked by unrepentant sin, habitual lying, pride, hatred, and rebellion against God's Word, your profession of faith deserves serious examination. A rotten tree cannot produce good fruit. (Matthew 7:18) Your mouth may profess Christ while your life denies Him. (Titus 1:16) And God is not fooled.

Everything is hard. Nothing works the first time. It all feels pointless. That’s when you realize you’re going to have to will it into existence with every ounce of your fucking soul. And that’s when it starts to happen.

Practice complaining and you’ll be good at complaining. Practice being negative and you’ll be good at being negative. Practice gratitude and you’ll be good at being grateful. Practice being positive and you’ll be good at being positive. You get good at what you practice.

God is standing in our tomorrow. He is standing in the next day and every single day after that. Standing there with His love. Waiting on us with His wisdom. Going before us with His hope and His provision.

Life throws punches at all of us. Difficult circumstances. Pressure. Setbacks. Challenges. Nobody is exempt. Mentally tough people are not the ones who never get hit. They are the ones who refuse to let every punch decide how they feel!

BIBLICAL MASCULINITY: Who You Stand With Matters The men around you influence the man you become. Biblical masculinity is not lived in isolation. It is strengthened through brotherhood, accountability, loyalty, and standing together in faith. A godly man chooses his company carefully and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with men who will challenge him, encourage him, and point him toward Christ. Scripture: "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." - 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 5 Takeaways: 1. Choose your brotherhood Surround yourself with men who pursue Christ. 2. Stand firm Hold to biblical truth when pressure comes. 3. Be accountable Allow godly men to challenge and sharpen you. 4. Stand together Don't fight the battle of faith alone. 5. Lead with love Strength is surrendered to Christ and expressed through love. Bottom line: Who you stand with matters. Be the man who stands with Christ and helps other men do the same.
