I am so looking forward to this. Folklore and museums - two of my favourite things
Our online day of talks from #library #museum and #archive professionals got so big that we had to redesign the poster!
This whole day is still just £10 and all ticket holders will get a link to watch back later if they can’t be there live

#OnThisDay in 1945, Soviet soldiers liberated Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and extermination camp.
Approximately 1.1 million people were murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau, and over 90% of them were Jewish.
We now mark this day as #HolocaustMemorialDay. #OTD

Delighted to report that the next chapter of @MetaphorComms begins. So proud of Kara and Katrina Dickinson for taking the legacy forwards. And I get to write full time which for a writer is like winning the jackpot. (And Stephen gets to do his art.) But keep in touch everyone

Delighted that rebeccatjewell_artist is taking inspiration from my book. ‘Making museums’ out of the confusions of our pasts is what we all do. Artists do it even more beautifully instagram.com/p/CI8swvglL_z/…

This is the best book I’ve read this year. Rachel Morris @MoMarcoPolo wonderfully weaves together the theory of museum making with her own story and reminds us why museums matter. A brilliant read.

Just finished my last book of the year and one of the most enjoyable. A wonderful and very personal exploration of family history interwoven with the story of museums. Reminded me why I wanted to work in this sector. Thanks @MoMarcoPolo for a great read
