I'm glad that we have a free and open internet where we can criticize our government all we want. I value the fact that Republicans and Leftys have the right to scream and curse at the best president ever to take office. Sadly China doesn't have that. nytimes.com/2024/06/04/busin…

Nothing from @ryancbeard since this btw.

What's the point of substantive responses? As soon as you idiots get cornered, you run away immediately, that's why I prefer voice conversations instead of going back and forth on Twitter. >So Destiny says that if he was Jewish he wouldn’t vote for El-Sayed because he…thinks El-Sayed didn’t give good enough answers to questions he’s been asked? El-Sayed literally gave a weasel word answer to a terrorist attack, in a time when anit-semitism on the left is an insanely elevated concern in this country, after pairing himself in the primary with Hasan Piker, someone who has caught heat for saying anti-semitic things several times on stream. Regardless of whether you agree with the coverage or not, this is a real issue that voters are worried about and El-Sayed has failed to adequately address these concerns, several times. >But when Muslims didn’t wanna vote for Kamala because her administration was enabling a genocide, that was totally unacceptable The issue wasn't Muslims not wanting to vote for Kamala, it was leftists across the country telling people not to. If someone had family or was personally impacted by the war in Gaza, I don't think I would necessarily fault that person for not wanting to vote for either candidate. You, however, tying all Muslim identity to Gaza(????) is incredibly weird, though, and falls into a trap that's a hundred times worse than when you guys constantly accuse Israel conflating its identity with all Jewish people. >PLEASE everyone wake up to the fact that this disgusting piece of shit has no actual principles. The “lesser of two evils voting”principle that centrist libs like him push is a total lie "No actual principles"? Do you acknowledge that I have poured more time, energy and money into the organizing space than any other streamer or influencer on the internet? You have literally no ground to stand on for this claim, it's just you raging out. I have literally fielded more canvassers and money towards El-Sayed's campaign himself than any other streamer or influencer in this space. As for the "lesser of two evils", this generally doesn't apply when both sides are legitimately unhinged. It's usually used to bully purists off of stupid positions where they think some Democratic candidate not having their idealized, perfect position on a policy is reason enough to let a Republican win. But if one side is a dying MAGA movement and the other side seems to genuinely have a problem denouncing Iran or terrorist attacks, we have a serious fucking problem and an understandable reason why someone might be hesitant to support that person. The Gaza genocide issue as an excuse not to vote for Kamala was never a real issue. If you were opposed to the (supposed) genocide in Gaza, you would have voted for Kamala and tried to pressure the US to be less involved. Now we are at war with Iran, and leftists have genuinely zero fucking pressure whatsoever they can exert over the president. Every single thing liberals said would happen as a result of a Trump election happened: the world is worse off for everyone, including (and especially) Palestinians or people in the Middle East.

If you’re gonna try and own someone for being illiterate, you should probably be literate enough to spell it properly.
Lol, you don't know the nuances between barking and hollering. Makes sense since your cult lead is an illeterate moron.

Go Abdul El-Sayed, fuck Haley Stevens, hoping for a Blue Michigan on election night.

Michigan voters should still, absolutely, vote for Abdul. Nobody is asking you to love every position or statement Abdul has made (I sure dont!) You just need to know a vote for Rogers is a vote for Trump. VOTE FOR ABDUL
The Republican Party is the party of Donald Trump. A vote for Mike Rogers IS a vote for Trump. I stand with Dr. @AbdulElSayed.

I think Stevens and El-Sayed are dumb af for sniping at each other but can they both just STFU until next week?

A smart leader would do something about these people. But we don’t have a smart leader.

The @NYCMayor discourse proves that the DSA types don't want governance. Mamdani is doing a pretty good job so far.

Imagine living through Trump 2.0 and bragging about how you never endorsed the other candidate. Those USAID deaths are on people like this as well, NOT just Elon and MAGA.

Sorry, no, winning in Michigan in a D+9 year does not show you can win anywhere. A Dem majority requires wins in Alaska, Texas, and other states that El-Sayed would lose even in a very friendly year. slowboring.com/p/an-honest-f…

I fucking wonder why they dont.
After spending much of last night disagreeing with Neera at Georgetown for @AJHeadtoHead, I actually agree with her on this. It’s literally insane to be, right now, protesting Mamdani - and not Trump, or Rubio or Vance or the Israeli ambassador - over the Gaza genocide.

Muted cuz he got OWNED.
This post just shows you aren’t a person worthy of being taken seriously. I’m muting you because you’re not making any points or saying anything meaningful. PS you’re super dumb

If you want to talk bad faith, look at how many times you've avoided the crux of the issue. I'm for the ACA. Seems like you would burn it down because it's not perfect. You already said you didn't think it's a big deal that 40m+ people now have health insurance.
You make a lot of assumptions. I never said I was being objective. I’m saying, objectively, your inability to answer questions and attempts at gaslighting is how a person that loses debates behaves.

If you were capable of voting in 2024 and did anything other than vote for Kamala, then you are directly responsible for Trump and all of the terrible things currently happening.

I’m saying dummies like you would tank the ACA because it wasn’t the perfect bill. How did we get Trump? This attitude is a huge reason.
You’re saying you think it’s good that he received money & his top staffer was from the healthcare industry? You’re saying that’s the best version of the bill and money played no role in preventing things that would have benefited Americans, like lower prices and lower deficit?

A bizarre statement. ACA guaranteed millions of Americans life saving coverage. The parts you whine about didn’t pass because they were unpopular with voters - remember “you can keep your doctor?”
The ACA. Lmao “The Senate Finance Committee chair who drafted much of the bill, Max Baucus, was among the top recipients of health industry money, and his lead health staffer had come from WellPoint, a major insurer.”

Winging because insurers were involved is dumb. What happened when Clinton tried that in 93 with even less political capital. Sometimes I think these people would rather have crap than incremental progress.
