Hi there. Meteorologist here. ⛈️ It’s called “El Niño,” not a “Godzilla-level phenomenon.” It’s just a natural mode of internal climate variability. This year, we are in an unusually strong warm phase of it. But it’s not supercharging the imaginary “climate crisis.” For instance, the Atlantic hurricane season has been record quiet. And the western U.S. will see major relief in drought come fall and winter. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
