🚨 Bruce Blakeman just shredded the "free stuff" pitch in New York.
Young voters love the promise. He says don't trust Mamdani and Hochul. Before the election, free bus rides. After? A fare hike. Blakeman says Kathy Hochul approved 21 fare hikes on public transit.
"There's no free ride in America. Got to work for what you get, earn what you get."
His offer instead: cut taxes, cut utility bills, put more money in your pocket so you decide how to spend it. Not Kathy Hochul. Not Zohran Mamdani.
Free is never free. New York is learning that the hard way.

🚨🇧🇷 BRAZIL’S ELECTION NIGHT: THREE MINUTES BEFORE POLLS CLOSED, THE RULES CHANGED.
Cristiano Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer and now a Supreme Court justice, ordered a nationwide two-hour extension of voting following a request from Lula’s campaign.
THREE MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED CLOSING TIME.
Some polling stations had already closed. The vote count was suspended. The court later clarified that only stations still open at 5 p.m. could continue voting.
Meanwhile, prediction markets swung dramatically towards Lula as the election count progressed.
And now the question practically asks itself:
How does a presidential election reach its closing minutes before a former lawyer of one of the candidates makes such a consequential ruling?
There may be legal explanations. There must also be public accountability.
Brazilian voters deserve to know precisely how the decision was implemented, which polling stations were affected and whether every ballot was handled consistently.
DEMOCRACY IS NOT A LAST-MINUTE PROCEDURAL EXPERIMENT.
