I should be paying for the convenience of getting the right job done, not being ripped off.

Water is cheaper and arguably better

I wonder if there is someway we could shift our time zones to make this more reasonable….

I guess you should stop wasting your time weighing options if you’ve already made up your mind.

You’re not growing your business because you have imposter syndrome while there are NFL analysts out there that dont understand the concept of a percent.

I was quoted nearly $500 to replace the serpentine belt on my Bronco Sport Requires removing a tire pulling back an inner fender well and some zip ties to put the new belt on.

Had to replace the battery on my vehicle. Decided to do it myself and had to pull the air intake and part of a fan shroud just to access the battery. As an engineer it is absolutely ridiculous.

Remind the democrats this would benefit @elonmusk and they’ll shut it down.

Our debt to GDP is 125% Japan is 250% Not saying we should go there, I hope we don’t but there is runway. But honestly I feel like only the AI Industry can earn us out of this mess without a near collapse.

Makes sense. For my personal profile I couldn’t make sense of it compared to other options That may be a lot different if I was way wealthier.

It’s admirable. Sleeping well at night is an ROI not often considered.

That’s a cool one year look, but what about the total opportunity cost in the past and the opportunity cost in the future?

You’re missing the original point. Whether it’s a plumber or lawyer they take advantage of people in situations that leads to a poor image for their profession.

I’m using @bot all the time but I feel like I’m using it like a n00b. Who’s the best follow for no nonsense info on how to use it best?

Once had a plumber diagnose a leak as a water heater issue. I looked my self and realized it was a leak from a pipe bearing the water heater. $100 repair instead of a $1500 repair.

Sometimes people think they are doing the right thing by calling a professional and then they find out later they got one pulled over on them. Example: was working with a Lawyer and they missed transferring a vehicle. I pointed it out and they filed the transfer. I got a $775 bill for something they missed that just needed to be file with the county. Example 2: I had water leaking from a water heater. The professional said it was the water heater. I did my own looking after and it was a pin hole leak near the water heater. Happens all the time and it’s why people get a bad taste for either.
