I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic studies and track career at the University of North Florida. I want to thank Coach Saunders for helping me put myself in this position and Coach Wells for making UNF feel like home. I also want to thank all the coaches who recruited me and saw my potential. A huge thank you to Coach Walker for introducing me to track, and to my former high school track coaches Robertson and Helem for giving me a platform to showcase my talent during my freshman and sophomore years. To all my teachers and college advisor, thank you for constantly encouraging me to excel in the classroom too. Your guidance has been invaluable. Finally, I want to thank my family, in particular my mom, who attended every meet, sacrificing her evenings and weekends for me when she could have been doing anything else. Your love and support means everything.
With that being said Go Ospreys! 🦅

Tierra is absolutely right. I don’t care if you disliked KC or not… Nothing he did warranted these million and billion dollar companies slandering the ONLY black couple on that show.
To all incoming Freshmen, make it a priority to maintain your mental health and your confidence. This is a very different landscape than anything you’ve ever seen before. One bad day does not mean a bad week. Remember that it is ok to not be ok. Use your resources.

The GOAT debate is over.
Only question is how big the gap is.

I really dont think 95% of society realizes how hard it is to play any sport at any level in college.

Reality of college recruiting:
D1: ~2%
D2: ~2%
NAIA: ~3%
D3: ~3%
Juco: ~7%
It is a privilege to get the opportunity to play college sports at ANY level.
Take your recruitment seriously.

Attention all schools
If you are building an area indoor track
Please consider the spectators, coaches, and athletes
Build stands for spectators to be able to see everything
Have areas for coaches to be able to coach their athletes and see the competition
Have adequate warm up space for each event.
We can’t have mosh pits to try to warm up for the sprints and hurdles
Congrats on the offer!! Many more to come 🤞🏾 @flrunners

Coach: I keep texting the kid and he won’t respond.
Me: What time did you text him Coach?
Coach: Around 10:00 AM.
Me: 🤦🏾♂️We have a new cell phone policy and students aren’t allowed to have their phones during school hours.
Be mindful coaches, they aren’t ignoring you!
