Sleeping on the streets is NOT a lifestyle choice. We don’t have nearly enough affordable homes, rents are soaring and this is leaving people destitute and forced to sleep rough. This is a consequence of poverty. And poverty in this country has been exacerbated by policy choices
The British people are compassionate. We will always support those who are genuinely homeless. But we cannot allow our streets to be taken over by rows of tents occupied by people, many of them from abroad, living on the streets as a lifestyle choice. 1/4

It’s funny how social media is bombarding me with so much content about how Israel needs to exist so that we as diaspora Jews can always come home. Meanwhile when I was in Israel I was told to my face that I’m “mentally ill,” “denying reality,” and a “danger to real women” 1/7

People in Gaza are dying in the darkness. This unthinkable horror cannot be undone — and history will not forgive those who refused to treat Israeli and Palestinian lives with equal worth. Please, we need a ceasefire, now.

Are you a tv writer who feels kind enough to offer a hospice user and award winning writer some pointers in getting her TV Drama made, please read on! If you know someone, or offer this post a signal boost I would be thrilled. Thank you. Whilst I'm still very sore from fractured sternum etc, I've finally decided to polish the TV Pilot I have always planned. I know it's a bit weird to say this about your own work but I think its dynamic and very different to anything I've seen about illnesses which are life shortening (I know I use a hospice but you can use them for years. They aren't static places, & neither is health. Even with 'x' diagnosis' you can be seriously ill & there are differences in wellness day to day). I've worked in radio and won awards for my print writing (To be honest I think another part of me died through that self compliment... I have sixteen complications/ diseases co-existing in me right now so maybe shameless plugging is another one... It can take the place of Mega Rectum on my list. The person who named that particular ailment needs to explain themselves) . Does anyone have any experience in pitching such a project to the BBC, Netflix, ITV, Channel 4 or any other services? Thank you!

I am one of very few Jewish students at Balboa High School. I’m sure many of you have seen the viral videos of a pro-Palestine walkout at my school. One in particular has been viewed nearly 17 million times. 1/11

I was on a trolley until I got to a ward. Most days are this now, and it's not even winter yet. PLEASE MASK and get your flu jabs and any boosters you're offered. Prevent your need of a bed. Please be safe. Signing off now. I'm fine. Save the NHS.

But if I hadn't had that I would've had brain damage. Thanks so much to the NHS. Staff are working their arses off. If you don'y use your vote in the next election to help change things, I don't think we're going to have an NHS soon.
