Passed the protests at Republic square this evening in Yerevan on my way back from a touching childrenโs play. The children who have disabilities decided to perform despite that their day had been full of worry & stress because of the news from Karabakh. Peace is so precious.

With a donation from #ErikThunesLegat, Mission East targeted rehabilitation programs for Armenian children with disabilities. 329 children received support including therapy and access to individual well-being and learning. 298 families were also helped.

It's in the interest of the whole world that we focus on mountain areas during #COP27, which rightly focuses on how #climatechange and losses & damages affect climate vulnerable countries. However, we see limited focus on the impacts in mountain areas.

LANDSLIDES CLAIM LIVES IN NEPAL
36 people lost their lives when mud poured over houses and fields in Humla and Kalikot districts in Nepal. Mission East is currently providing #emergencyrelief to 2,400 people in the two districts.
