मैं रह जाऊँगी
अपने लिखे हुए शब्दों में
जैसे कोई खुशबू
फूलों के मुरझाने के बाद भी ठहरी रहती है
मेरे होने का पता
मेरी कविताएँ देंगी
हर पंक्ति में थोड़ा-सा मैं
हर ख़ामोशी में मेरी आवाज़ होगी
जब मैं कहीं दिखाई नहीं दूँगी
तब भी शायद
कोई मेरी कविता पढ़कर मुस्कुरा दे
या चुपचाप अपनी आँखें पोंछ ले
बस इतना ही काफ़ी होगा...
कि मेरा होना
मेरे शब्दों में साँस लेता रहे
और हर बार
जब कोई उन्हें पढ़े
मैं फिर से
थोड़ी-सी जीवित हो जाऊँ !

मनुष्य सदैव यह स्मरण रखे कि, भले ही उसके
अतीत ने उसे कितने भी गहरे घाव क्यों न दिए हों,
फिर भी, वह भिन्न-भिन्न स्तरों पर अपनी असीम
शक्ति एवं पावन मनोभावों का प्रदर्शन कर सकता है,
चाहे उसके हृदय के किसी कोने में अभी भी,
पीड़ा शेष हो, और जीवन की कठिन यात्रा के
थपेड़ों से वह जूझ रहा हो,
फिर भी, यह अत्यंत अद्भुत और वंदनीय है कि,
वह सदैव ही उज्ज्वल उम्मीद के साथ जीता है,
कैसे वह आज भी हृदय खोलकर
निश्चल मंदहास बिखेरता है,
कैसे वह अपनों और संपूर्ण संसार की
परवाह करता है,
मनुष्य वास्तव में ईश्वर की सबसे
अद्भुत और सर्वश्रेष्ठ कृति है,
जो हर टूटन के बाद भी स्वयं को जोड़ना जानता है!

The risks of having a pure heart are many.
People take you for granted. They keep looking for hidden motives behind your selfless behaviour. They get to know your weak points very well.
And when things go wrong, they know exactly where to strike to cause you the maximum pain.
But if you have a pure heart, my suggestion to you is simple: BE YOU. Yes, still be you.
People like you are rare. Even if some sick soul hurts you, I am sure HE will make sure your purity remains untouched. He will continue to give you enough strength and positivity to keep being the person you are.
