I am begging the GOP to adopt the following platform: Abortion - 16 weeks with exceptions, adoption reform & expanded child tax credit Healthcare - transition to a Singapore or Swiss style system Social security - raise the income cap to 1m and index it to inflation
Republicans really do need to get their platform together. Are they protectionist or for free trade? Are they for total abortion bans or for 15 weeks Are they isolationist? Interventionist? Coalitionist? Non interventionists? What’s the environmental policy?

Racist to point out things AES has said and people he chooses to associate with? Both those things are fair game for any candidate and the characterizations Rogers has made have been about AES not the community more broadly. The resist lib routine from Miller is getting old.
Mike Rogers is running the most racist campaign in the country and will be a vote to fund Trump’s internment camps. Supporting him in the name of concerns about bigotry is ludicrous.

Today I addressed the City Club of Chicago, the longest-running civic forum in our City and unveiled my Growth Plan. Only one candidate running for mayor has a proven track record of turning around a fiscal crisis - and that’s me. Chicago has had enough unmet promises. What this city needs is someone who can deliver actual progress. So today I stated my Growth Plan goals: lower costs, more housing, a growing population, jobs in every neighborhood, and a future where Chicago is leading the next economy. I’m ALL IN Chicago. #chicago

ICYMI Mayor Johnson's 2027 budget includes DOUBLING City sales tax on beer, wine, and spirits you buy at grocery & liquor stores! That's right, he wants a 13.5% sales tax on the adult beverages you buy to enjoy at home! Tell City Hall no new "sin" taxes! spiritsunited.org/chicago-ta…

Palmer Luckey says analysts claiming it's too expensive to manufacture in the US are lying to protect megacorps "I think I have a more realistic view than almost anybody. One of the problems with all these analysts that are telling you that it's going to cost $37,000 to build an American iPhone or $100,000 to buy an American computer." "They're trying to prop up a status quo that the megacorporations want to keep going. They want to outsource everything. They want to hire cheaper non-American labor." "They are willing to say and do anything to convince you that it can't be fixed, that it can't come back, that America is this helpless, neutered, post-relevant empire, and it is just not the case." "How do I know that? Because I have to make stuff in America every day because I work in the defense industry. The stuff that Anduril makes every day is not actually that different from a computer. My drones are basically computers. They have memory, a GPU, a CPU, sensors, batteries, a rugged integration." "The only difference between an Anduril attack drone and a laptop is a keyboard and a screen. That is not that hard to figure out, especially for a guy like me who started Oculus and comes from the consumer electronics space." "We're not going to let people lie about what America can and can't do anymore. We're just going to do it."

Wow that’s crazy! If you just remove 40% of Illinois’s population the state’s politics are different
Someone recently told me Illinois is a red state outside of Cook County. I wasn't sure, so I ran the numbers. Non-Cook Illinois voters have favored a Republican governor in every election this century.

There’s no place like home. So why is Chicago making it so hard to build one? Between skyrocketing property taxes, city fees, and bureaucratic red tape, Chicago has become one of the hardest cities in the country to build in. In my first term as Mayor, I’ll cut approval and permitting times in HALF. Build faster, grow faster. MORE housing means more people, a stronger economy, lower taxes, and a city that's actually thriving. I’m ALL IN, Chicago! Volunteer and Donate at susanaforchicago.com #chicago

I am begging you guys to stop commenting on polls that refuse to publish their crosstabs and are suspiciously vague about their polling methodology. We don’t even know how they chose to weight this, we just know they did. This poll is worthless
AND MONTANA SENATE INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE SETH BODAR IS AHEAD OF REPUBLICAN KURT ALME IN HIS FIRST POLL, EVEN WITH BANKHEAD TAKING 10% OF THE VOTE. FOLKS WE HAVE A RACE ON OUR HANDS.

10 years and democrats still don’t understand the definition of fascism
Kathy Griffin on the midterm elections: "This is the big one that decides whether we are fully a fascist country or we are not." "Can any of you guys not sleep because of fascism? Me, too. I'm obsessed with it."

Black voters would have to turnout ~ 30% more than they did in 2022 for Graham to lose. This is asinine
Replying to @MadAboutSkin01
South Carolina - Absolute disaster for Republicans and no other way of looking at it. Early voting here is even worse for the GOP than NC (and that's saying something).. I wouldn't be shocked to see Reps hold Maine and lose SC in a weeks time it's looking that bad.. issue here is all down to poor candidate quality so the GOP better find a way of turning the base out quickly

Lmafo Again, no one should be confident in what’s going to happen in November. After diving through crosstabs my genuine guess is this is a D+5/6 environment and many of the models are struggling with Hispanic vote. I do not get the feeling turnout will be particularly high

Hahaha my hottest cheesetake (😃🔫) is that the best cheesecake in the world is better than the other cheesecakes in world
My hottest cheesetake is that Basque cheesecake from La Viña in San Sebastián is the best cheesecake in the world and completely mogs New York or Chicago-style cheesecake. Gooey cheesy center + less sweetness makes it dangerously easy to eat
