There is this military engineering concept called the "survivability onion" which ranks a list of priorities for what you need to do to stay alive. Countering a threat from drones is a mirror image of that. If you are at the point where you're running away through a forest, then that's being done in place of other, more proactive measures which are either simpler or more effective overall but must be completed long before the event. Instead of running from the drone, attack. Instead of attacking the drone, find the controller/operator. Rather than hunting down the operator, target his supply line.
