[LIEUTENANT GENERAL SHADRACK SIBIYA HAS RESIGNED FROM SAPS]
Pretoria, 12 October 2026; The South African Police Service (SAPS) confirms that Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya is no longer an employee of the Service with effect from Monday, 12 October 2026.
The disciplinary hearing against Lieutenant General Sibiya sat this morning, during which his legal representative tendered his resignation immediately after the disciplinary proceedings had commenced.
As the former senior officer had an ongoing disciplinary case against him at the time of his resignation, his departure from the Service is therefore regarded as a dishonourable discharge.
The SAPS confirms that Lieutenant General Sibiya’s employment with the Service has been terminated with immediate effect.

IDAC falsely claimed Dineo Mokwele was wholly unqualified and unsuitable for the Brigadier position she was appointed to in crime intelligence.
Meanwhile, she had all the qualifications required and was studying for an MBA.
She has a VERY strong case for malicious prosecution.
[WATCH] Brigadier Dineo Mokwele says she would rather not focus on her victimisation but rather reforming the criminal justice system to prevent a repeat of the abuse of power. This follows the withdrawal of fraud and corruption charges against her. #Newzroom405
