How many people use rhetorical appeals in their day-to-day life?
The answer: Everyone
Now, how many people know how to use rhetorical appeals professionally?
The answer: Barely anyone
Why is this? (A Business Guide) 🧵
Not even going to lie. Base44 has some of the most beautiful motion design videos ever.
It's incredibly enticing, easy to follow, and enjoyable through and through.
This is a meme, sure… But there’s a deep reality to this.
10+ years from now.. It’s going to be more about:
- 10+ years of experience using <insert AI tool here>
Will it be about degrees? What’s it going to look like?
This is no surprise. We are walking into the future.
Get pretty to a new normal, but get ready for new solutions to combat this.
Whats happening right now is probably way worse than the Hugging Face incident.
AI-powered attacks are hitting real organizations while major platforms disclose breaches and critical flaws.
- Microsoft reports AI agents targeting hundreds of organizations, reaching privileged cloud access in under three hours in multiple cases. It attributes the ConnectWise compromise to the same group.
- CrowdStrike documented four operators running successful AI-agent campaigns. One compromised at least 15 Argentine healthcare organizations.
- PHP2Shell: AI helped turn longstanding PHP flaws into working exploits. Cloudflare’s CEO reports millions of exploitation attempts. Their AI involvement is unknown.
- Railway disclosed possible access to customer secrets. LiteLLM shipped a backdoored release. Zeabur confirmed another breach and is shutting down.
- GitLab patched a maximum-severity flaw affecting 12 years of releases. Node.js patched a serious code-execution vulnerability, with Vercel deploying firewall protections.
Feels like a turningpoint.

Whop is 100% hitting 50B in 5 years. Just watch
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify.
It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine.
We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there.
Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day.
Who cares, tiny market.
But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one.
Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people.
My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner.
We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier.
We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly.
The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.

whop's CEO says 40,000 people earn $300M a month on it...
he also said nobody wants to use more than one platform to do the same thing
but a lot of the businesses moving onto whop are still running setups they built at $2k a month
a checkout on one site, and someone on the team adding members by hand
my agency has moved 30+ businesses onto whop, and they've processed around $20M through it
so i broke down the exact stack we use to fix it:
- whop as the base layer
- the email flows that stop money leaking
- how one community cut churn from 38.65% to 23.07%
- tracking which posts make sales
- AI support and automation
- the 4-step build, from audit to handoff
full breakdown is in the article:

After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
