Friends don’t let friends read the Washington Post
NEWS: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is prepping a run for president in 2028, according to 3 ppl briefed on his plans. He's reached out to a national political consultant, his federal PAC sent out a fundraising text this week. washingtonpost.com/politics/…

The Washington Post is fabricating this out of whole cloth. I have not reached out to anybody about running for anything. Just another pathetic attempt to garner clicks.
Using anonymous sources of course!

Huge for Florida. More of this please. @NRA @AGJamesUthmeier

"One of the difficulties with DeSantis is that he's got all the right enemies but not enough friends."
In other words, exactly what you would expect in the political world if you ACTUALY pose a threat.
One of the difficulties with DeSantis is that he's got all the right enemies but not enough friends. Everyone who works closely with him love him (which is why he's been so wildly effective within his immediate sphere of influence)
The crazy thing is that, even while Romney and Trump hate him, he still plays for the team because he understand that this is how team sports work.

Some will never understand how @GovRonDeSantis built a loyal coalition in Florida. But if you lived or moved here during Covid, you get it.
He didn’t just save businesses and jobs — he saved lives. And he gave folks the chance to be present with their loved ones when they needed it most.
Floridians will always be grateful.

Every single federal judicial vacancy needs to be filled in the lame duck session. The Senate should pull all-nighters for as long as it takes. Democrats wont confirm a single Trump judge once they take over.

🔥 👀
Romney attacked me during Covid as an “authoritarian” who was “more dangerous than Trump.”
This was during the time when I used my power to protect people from the largest incursion against liberty in our lifetime — restrictions and mandates that Romney supported.
Blocking local governments from imposing covid mandates/restrictions is not being an “authoritarian”; it is liberating people from government overreach by city and county officials. Florida is better for our efforts, and the country would not have been liberated had we not led.
Claiming to be “severely conservative” and then smearing the one guy who delivered the conservative wish list across the spectrum shows him to be a phony.
Better than Obama but he would have given us managed decline that accepted the assumptions of the left and bowed to criticisms of the legacy media.

Especially when since then we’ve taken on entrenched interests to deliver big wins on immigration, education, gender ideology, crime, and Covid.
Basic IQ test.

Democrats plan to “tackle” affordability, but they will not address the reason — massive borrowing, printing and spending — we have had and continue to have inflation in the first place.
If anything, they will add gas to the fire like Biden did.

Not necessarily surprised, but glad that folks will see relief from property taxes.
They need it and they deserve it.
Replying to @RonDeSantis
Are you surprised that it was such a triumph??
I’m not. YOU moved a mountain for the good of the people… that’s just one of them, too.
God smiles when we are looking out for each other.

4 consecutive years of reducing the budget = lowest per capital spending in America.

Good win!
🚨 BREAKING: Islamic organization CAIR confirms it has SUSPENDED all operations in Florida because Gov. Ron DeSantis designated them as a terror organization
WHAT A HUGE WIN ‼️😅
A bright orange sign is now taped to the window of CAIR's Temple Terrace office near Tampa, which it has run for 20+ years
The sign says the group shut down over the state's "baseless and unconstitutional enforcement" of Florida's new "domestic terrorist organization" laws
The lawsuits are failing, CAIR IS DOA in Florida!
DeSantis said he'd treat them like the threat they are, and now they are fleeing.
Good freaking RIDDANCE 👋🏻
And guess what? Our new Governor Byron Donalds is EQUALLY as opposed to Sharia and CAIR as DeSantis is

Absolutely spot-on. The midterm bloodbath for the GOP was NOT a rejection of common sense conservative ideas like border security, free markets, or ensuring that schools educate children rather than force-feeding them radical gender & racial ideologies.
It was a rejection of the elites who make concrete promises to win votes, then break those promises the moment they get into power in Washington. Instead of delivering on their promises of transparency and swamp draining, they voted against releasing the JE files while profiting off insider trading.
Millions of Americans didn't vote for Democrats this week, but they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Republicans either, and we need to be honest with ourselves as to why that is.
🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"
"I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."
