WHERE IS THE REAL VLADIMIR PUTIN? 👀 Take a very close look at these two photographs of Vladimir Putin, from 2009 and 2015. Just six years separate them, yet the differences in his facial appearance are startling. Study the eyes, nose, forehead, cheeks and jawline. Do these really look like the same face to you? There are also circulating allegations that Putin was arrested, taken to Guantánamo Bay (GITMO), subjected to a military tribunal and executed. THE FACE SHAPE: The 2009 photograph shows a longer, leaner face with a more angular appearance through the cheeks and lower jaw. In 2015, the face appears noticeably broader and rounder, particularly around the cheekbones and lower half. THE EYES AND EYEBROWS: Look closely at the eyes. In 2009, they appear more open and rounded, with prominent under-eye lines and distinctly shaped brows. In 2015, the eyes look narrower and more hooded, with a flatter, heavier brow area. The entire expression around the eyes looks remarkably different. THE FOREHEAD AND HAIRLINE: The earlier photograph reveals a high, shiny forehead, pronounced temple contours and clearly visible horizontal lines. The later portrait shows a smoother forehead, differently arranged hair and a softer appearance around the temples. The change in overall facial framing is particularly noticeable. THE NOSE: In the 2009 image, the nose appears slimmer, with a more sharply defined bridge and tip. In the 2015 portrait, the lower nose looks broader and more rounded. Compare the shape of the nostrils and the transition from the nose into the upper lip. THE MOUTH AND LIPS: The earlier image shows a slightly open mouth, a comparatively thin upper lip and pronounced lines running towards the corners. The later portrait shows a closed-mouth smile, with fuller-looking lips and a softer appearance around the mouth. THE CHEEKS, JAWLINE AND CHIN: Perhaps one of the biggest apparent differences. The earlier face has pronounced hollows beneath the eyes, stronger facial contours and a narrower lower jaw. The later face appears fuller through the cheeks, with a softer jawline and rounder chin. The overall silhouette looks substantially different. THE SKIN AND FACIAL TEXTURE: The earlier photograph reveals prominent forehead creases, fine lines around the eyes and uneven facial texture. The later portrait looks considerably smoother, although image enhancement may account for some of that difference. Look at the photographs again. Compare the facial proportions, the eyes and the shape of the lower face. The differences deserve a closer examination, even though photographs alone cannot establish that a substitution occurred.
