25 years later, what are children learning about 9/11?
Two weeks ago, I wrote in @CityJournal about Penn's “Teaching Beyond September 11th” curriculum — a resource that omits key facts about the attacks, says nothing about al-Qaeda’s ideology that motivated the attacks, presents contested political claims as settled fact, and repeatedly steers students toward activism.

I should have guessed @NAVIvalues would sneak into Socialism 2026 too! 🥷
Fantastic piece from my favorite Substack. I’m especially glad they made it to Kobi Guillory’s panel, featuring the CTU teacher and FRSO member just days after his arrest.
NAVI was at the 2026 Socialism Conference.
What we heard: A Chicago Teachers Union leader on the need for "revolutionary violence," Palestinian "resistance" in Pre-K, and "anti-racist" Holocaust education.

Great work by Aaron, @zach_kessel, and @NAVIvalues.
"The Movement School has said that its goal is to create a 'revolutionary pipeline' for K-12 students." It wasn't a secret. And public school officials went ahead and hired them to spread their dangerous stupidity. A lot of people should lose their jobs over this.
EXCLUSIVE: Philadelphia public schools hosted prison abolition workshops for students as young as 7th grade taught by a convicted felon who has argued that Jews control the media and was involved in torching a police car.
The sessions took place at the at the Workshop School, where zero percent of students are proficient in math.

Even more nauseating?
The NEA Union has paid Rethinking Schools nearly $110,000 USD.
Yes.
Hard working teachers' dues are being funneled to promote socialism & antisemitism!

Are DSA socialists using teachers unions as a host vector to infiltrate & infect our K-12 schools? Yes.
Are DSA socialists trying to blame antisemitism on Jews? ALSO yes.
Check out this event tomorrow night in Philly - Adam Sanchez of Rethinking Schools (an ally of the National Education Assoc. (NEA) & American Fed. of Teachers (AFT) unions) will be speaking on the above.

Update: Pennsylvania Department of Education has removed the unapproved Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism and its entire DEI glossary.
Pleasure working alongside @NAVIvalues on this important matter and thank you to all those that contacted the PA DOE.
WHO CHANGED PENNSYLVANIA'S DEFINITION OF ANTISEMITISM?
PA's Dept. of Ed cites IHRA approved IHRA as its source yet a DEI glossary uses the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism that says opposing Zionism is not "on the face of it" antisemitic.
Who authorized this unapproved change?
The school year is about to begin - PA parents, educators and Jewish families deserve answers NOW @PDESecretary @GovernorShapiro

And there it is.

Not what the evidence shows.
Not what works.

On May 1st I caught Chicago Public Schools bussing kids to an Anti Trump protest. At the protest they told me that their teachers say "F*CK TRUMP!" and "F*CK ICE!"
Now my reporting of a student equating Trump to Hitler was shown at congress to push for real change in Chicago Public Schools.

“They’re just looking for help,” Steve Rosenberg, NAVI’s Philadelphia regional director, told McCormick in the call, attended by Jewish Insider. “They need life preservers. They’re writing emails, they’re sending texts, they’re doing everything they can, and they are getting very little, if any, response from their local politicians, from their state level people.”
