Agree. This is very well done. The WSJ video team continues to do very good work covering national security space.
A great video from @WSJ on what the real world space weapons Meadowlands and Bounty Hunter look like and are used in combat operations around the world wsj.com/us-news/the-space-fo…

Two missions. Two @SpaceNews_Inc Icon Award finalist honors. 🏆 Impulse was selected as a finalist for the Commercial Space Achievement category alongside @StarfishSpace for the Remora RPO mission. Starfish software autonomously controlled our LEO-2 Mira through a series of maneuvers, bringing it within approximately 1,250 meters of our LEO-1 Mira on orbit. See the mission in action in the video below! We are also finalists in the Military Space Achievement category for our contract with the USSF for a future Space Force space domain awareness mission. Mira will host a government-furnished optical payload built by MIT Lincoln Laboratory to support SDA for objects located in GEO. Mira is putting maneuverability at the center of what’s possible in orbit. Congrats to our crew behind the work. Two well-earned honors for the missions we’re bringing to life. 👏 Full list of finalists in the comments.

The complications of determining who is the launching state - important when determining liability and also who is responsible for registering the satellites with the UN
Of interest in the recently cataloged Transporter 18 sats: ICEYE-X83 is cataloged as a US satellite, ICEYE-X85 as Netherlands, and ICEYE-86 as a Swedish one (we knew the Swedish defence agency FMV had a contract for ICEYE sats)

10 months from mission inception to launch readiness. 🛰️ Our Launch Operations Team has completed final preparations for Mira at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and delivered the spacecraft for integration with Falcon 9 ahead of @SpaceX's Bandwagon-5 rideshare mission, manifested through @Exolaunch . That pace is made possible by teams across Impulse, from Propulsion and Avionics to Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, and Assembly, Integration & Test. this goes against God's order, which states that one must learn the orbial elements by staring intently at the wikipedia illustration for several days and/or watching the orbital element dance on youtube
ki-math.github.io/orbital-el…

Thank you to our customers and investors for supporting us, and all our Impulse employees for building an awesome company!
We've raised an additional $308M to continue expanding our team, products, and facilities as we accelerate humanity's future beyond Earth. This raise brings our combined Series D round to $808M, continuing a period of significant growth for our company. We're scaling because our customers need more than just access to space, they need to be able to move dynamically once they're there. That's why we're building vehicles that can maneuver precisely, respond quickly, reach new destinations, and adapt on orbit. We're excited to continue building a full spectrum of in-space mobility capabilities for the space industry. Read the full announcement: impulsespace.com/updates/imp…

Ahead of Burning Man 2026, our satellites captured 10 high-resolution SAR images over the Nevada desert, approximately every 3 days. By comparing collects, we can see Black Rock City take shape, from new structures to vehicle movement across the playa. hubs.la/Q04xvN6m0

Open racism by the Republican nominee for an important statewide office in TX (regulates oil and gas). What's especially tragic is this picture shows the magic and genius of America.

Two Miras — less than 200 meters apart! Our LEO Express 2 and LEO Express 3 spacecraft recently met for a family reunion in orbit, following a series of carefully coordinated maneuvers that brought the two vehicles within approximately two football fields of each other. The operation put Mira's flight-proven agility to work, with our GNC, propulsion, and mission ops teams executing multiple complex maneuvers and close approaches along the way. With the release of To the Black, a documentary that chronicles Firefly's early years, we're reminded of where our journey began—and even more importantly, how far we've come. Since then, Firefly has entered a new era of leadership and growth, with multiple launches, the first successful commercial Moon landing, an IPO, and an expanded portfolio that includes AI software capabilities. Our story is just getting started. With an unwavering focus on enhancing reliability, increasing production, and delivering on a growing mission manifest, the most exciting chapters are still to come. totheblack.com

Six Mira's, one cleanroom. Each Mira spacecraft is progressing through a different stage of assembly, integration, and test. Together, they reflect a production environment built to move multiple spacecraft through development in parallel. The production line is growing, and so is the team behind it. impulsespace.com/careers
