No decision makers (autonomous) or one decision maker (CEO) can both be better than a group of decisionmakers (bureaucratic).

Related funny observation: angels often have more time for diligence than large funds.
When a large fund looks at a round, they often have <2 weeks for all of their diligence, b/c once a founder picks a term sheet, the chance to lead disappears. Angels have more flexible timing.
