It is with heavy hearts that we announce Sir Ken Robinson died peacefully yesterday, 21st August 2020, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. We will be following up with a further update as we begin to follow Sir Ken’s wishes and honour his legacy.

My mum told me her colleagues have been bashing teachers in their WhatsApp group today. Saying that their kids aren’t getting enough support from online lessons, and it’s not differentiated perfectly to their child’s needs so they are struggling to do it and they can’t help.

This and @ITTchat are the reasons twitter became such a big part of my life when I started teaching - it’s so lovely to connect with others who are in the same boat as you, and so many experienced teachers helped us out too. Please consider running it! They’re my babies!!!

My class recreated the front cover of one of their favourite books as part of #WorldBookDay. Every class in school has done this, so we’re going to have a “book tapestry” display of those going from EYFS - Y6! #readingrocks
