The spread of misinformation & disinformation continues to be used as a weapon in the war in #Gaza.
As part of its campaign to undermine & discredit @UNRWA, the Government of Israel has been buying ads on @Google to block users from giving donations to the Agency + undertake a defamation campaign.
@UNRWA is the largest humanitarian organization responding to the crisis in #Gaza.
This does not just hurt the agency’s reputation but most importantly it puts the lives of our staff at risk.
These deliberate efforts to spread misinformation should stop + be investigated.
Companies including social media platforms continue to make profit through spreading misinformation. More regulations are needed to combat disinformation + hate speech.

Is this real? Does such vile , hateful, dehumanising racism still exist?

They don’t even ask for an independent investigation or wait for the results of UNRWA’s investigation. They immediately take measures against a whole organisation that’s providing vital services to the captive & slaughtered people of Gaza, on the basis of accusations against 12.

An Israeli journalist from Channel 13 News, refuted claims made by the military regarding alleged crimes committed by Hamas, which were published around the world.
The journalist highlighted a particular incident involving the Kfir Brigade commander, who spoke to another channel giving detail on events in Kibbutz Be'eri, alleging the killing of eight babies and an elderly woman. However, the Israeli journalist said, “Well, no eight babies were killed in Be'eri, according to the Kibbutz spokesperson there's no woman named Jenya in Be'eri.”

Reverend @MuntherIsaac, the pastor at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, delivered a powerful Christmas sermon on the war in Gaza and why the world must stand with Palestinians. "The hypocrisy and racism of the Western world is transparent and appalling," he said.

1/ Can you take a drink of water without thinking of the people of Gaza going thirsty & getting sick for lack of clean water? Can you eat a meal without thinking of them starving? Can you sleep a whole night in your bed without thinking of them being bombed in theirs?

Yesterday, my good friend and dear colleague, Dr. Hani Al-Haitham, head of Shifa emergency department, was brutally murdered by Israel, along with his beloved wife, Dr. Sameera Ghifari and their five children Shireen, Tia, Sameer, Wafa & Sara. In cold blood, coward Israeli soldiers killed seven more unarmed civilians.
Another attack on all of us, on all humankind. You will never be forgotten, we pledge: we will rebuild Shifa, Gaza, Palestine!
